There’s been a lot of talk about the secondary deaths that COVID causes. someone in an ER not getting care for a severe condition because they’re swamped with COVID cases or a wife who has a stroke or heart attack after hearing her husband has died if COVID. There’s a bunch of instances that have been raised.
I’m wondering about things like this:

It’s a lot to dig through, but the focus is on two neighbors constantly fighting about this 18 year old being a menace to get tik tok views. It resulted in a confrontation where he stabbed and killed the older neighbor who confronted him.
The note that’s overlooked in the story is that neighbor repeatedly requested help from police but they couldn’t sign off on the report because that office was closed due to COVID.
The residual effects of all this are so insane.
