Last year's flu season was nearly non-existent and I attribute that to the protocols for Covid. I hope this year's season is as calm.
Lots of people around here are wearing masks in groups (myself included). Lots of people are not congregating in large groups (myself included). Most people I know are vaccinated (myself included -- I am scheduling my booster shot next week).
I posted some stats about masks a while back and they are pretty telling. Masks actually do help, but people need to wear the right ones and wear them properly. Improperly worn masks are not effective.

Listen man...db is the most partisan hack in the history of this site and the dude does everything he possibly can to maintain that badge of honor. It's not an obsession. Yep between all the unvaccinated people who stopped wearing masks (or never wore them) and the unmasked vaccinated people who feel bulletproof now that they have gotten the shot, you have to expect the number of people getting the flu to rise pretty significantly.

More things open + lower rate of masking/distancing + politicization of vaccines + hospitals still dealing with COVID in places.

I don't think it'll be as widespread as most flu seasons, because some places are still acting like there's a pandemic happening, but many others aren't.

Whatever he is, its still weird that you constantly call him out when he's not even having a conversation with you. Tell me that you guys exchange insults like we're doing right now and I would get it more but it doesn't even get that far. Does it make you feel better that you get to insult him unabated? Strange hill to be so confident on. Special has some weird love affair with Trump and AOC. His constant denials about those things made it hard to take him seriously in his opinions about those two people. He made some legitimate points when speaking on other topics.

Does Nate do that on every post? I've seen him plenty of times make legitimate and educated points. He's not all laugh emojis. And yeah a lot of the things he laughs at are the same ridiculous arguments over and over by the same posters.
