This is the crux of the problem right here.
China used all the information found at Berkrly, Stanford, John hopkins, north western, etc etc and got control over it.
Meanwhile america sitting here ignoring our own academic system and wondering if we can inject lysol in our bodies to clean it out.
Of course the numbers are gonna be hundreds of times worse here.

Better than the freedom toting idiots who throw complete caution to the wind and pretend the world is business as usual.
As much you mock the science, its there for a reason. All people like you do by ignoring it is further expose other people to a potentially deadly virus. If more people acted responsibly and this was handled better, we weren't be talking about shutting down businesses. There are plenty of countries who have been able to weather this better than we have and that's evident by their abilities to have all of those things you mentioned without significant interruption.
Sure but they are part of a bigger group of people who take the virus only a little bit less seriously. Doing nothing and taking significant shortcuts go hand in hand. People who are going to say its just the flu, downplay the science behind its spread, suggest that the virus's effects are augmented by the media looking to create stories and doctors looking to profit off sick patients, etc create a culture that is lax in taking the necessary precautions to stop it.
You **** on that tweet that compared the amount of cases in South Dakota and New Hampshire when it was a perfectly good parallel given their similar populations. The major difference was the action or inaction of the populations in those states in relation to the virus.
Never said it was some massive resistance. I said there are large groups of people who treat this virus with significantly less caution than they should. In those groups exist a varying of degrees in which its diminished. Ultimately it doesn't change the fact that if you downplay its effect and take even less precaution against it, that you measurably increase the potential of getting the virus and spreading it. The more unnecessary freedoms you participate in increase those chances as well.
Hard for you to understand I know because according to you its just the flu.
I had covid dude. So did the rest of my family. It's the flu without a vaccine. I think it's harder for you to understand that's it's the flu without a vaccine.
You guys love to vilify people and lump people in general catagories. The amount of people doing what you say is nearly immeasurable. I mean....not even worth any of our time.
But hey. It gives you something to continue to complain about. As usual.
