So let's get into this. What is essential?
Because a doctor will tell you alcohol is physically essential for an alcoholic, as it is an actual physiologic dependency. Ever heard of deleriums tremens?

Were they asking for near full capacity? Or asking for a percentage of their capacity vs the same number they could have at a person's house. You do understand the vast difference between 10 people in a living room, 10 people in a restaurant, and 10 people in a room designed to seat 1,000 or more, right?
When were 'they' identified as a cluster? When Cuomo talked about primary spreaders he said bars, restaurants, gyms, and house gatherings. He didn't mention churches.
One of the disconnects here is that everybody has a different opinion on what should be deemed essential, what activities put people at risk. Another is that we've got multiple people arguing from multiple standpoints, some directly talking about the NY/SCOTUS situation, some talking about how things are where they live, some talking about what restrictions THEY think SHOULD be in place. So you'll pardon nasty and I when it's been 10 posters from 7 directions trying to make it sound like we and the church want free reign to put everybody at higher risk.
Nah. As per usual, you're solely concerned with being "right" and posing as an "expert" (regardless of facts or logic). The only question is whether you are consciously doing this or it's simply an unconscious defense mechanism that kicks in anytime you feel as though your intelligence is in question.
Either way about it, this combination of ignorance and confidence you constantly display is beyond ridiculous.
Whether or not I'm aligning myself with him or not doesn't change the fact that I'd bet he agrees that it feels like we're getting 'hit' from multiple directions from people who can't get it through their heads that we, ourselves, simply have a different opinion than a lot of you regarding whether a church should be allowed the restrictions of an essential business. We keep saying it, somebody keeps asking it in a different way, then talks like we're not answering the question.
On top of that, some seem to think that pummeling people whose opinions differ from theirs will eventually result in them changing their opinion. But in saying that, there will be someone, possibly even you, suggesting that's what he and I are doing......and the endless circle continues rather than agreeing it's maybe time to move on and how 'bout dem Cowboys
It's not as simple as a matter of different opinions though. It's a matter of a certain poster that can't put together a coherent argument yet thinks of himself as the resident expert on every topic he decides to discuss. You're relatively new here but nasty has been pulling this same inane **** for years, so excuse me if some of us have lost our patience with his childish routine.
It is forcing special treatment towards churches compared to similar types of business and activities.
As was stated from the start if you want to make the claim they deserve special treatment for being religious so be it. You and sitewolf are simultaneously saying you aren’t doing so but continuously reverting back to agreeing with it. Pick one

Ok, why dont you link us another study that shows churches to be super spreaders, lol.
You guys are copy and paste science. I'm actual science, that's why I discuss substance rather than labels. When you understand actual science you can go beyond the surface level labels used to dumb things down for the general public.
That's why you guys got all confused when me and site asked specifics of this special treatment they are receiving, because us supporting it or opposing it is going to be based on that, not the essential label. It will be based on what effects those specifics have on spread.

What are similar business and activities? Give a legitimate reason for your comparisons, not an opinion
lol, jk.
If a church is treated like an essential business then that is not special treatment because it IS essential. If every other essential business is treated as essential, then so should a church.

If you would have read through the posts it’s very clear who keeps deflecting away from what most of us have been discussing. There is one poster constantly making up things no one said, using strawman, saying it’s an atheist agenda to people based on made up arguments by him and arguing things no one else has been responding to him with...
When I have responded to you it often ends without a response or stating you don’t want to go down that road then gets picked up again later. I’m fine talking this through with you if you prefer but don’t play the games the other poster is then.
