Like grocery shopping?
How about liquor stores? How about dispensaries?
Your Mosque is one example, there are many other places of worship that might be different in NY. Depending how strict and other activities done that sounds pretty low risk to me. I think a lot of businesses followed guidelines and now face restrictions because others didn't, that isn't a church specific argument and the policy in place will treat industries the same (like gyms as we covered).
Lol ya I normally base on how well someone knows something based on if they tell me they do while still providing no evidence. Just like the other topic you were an expert on. I imagine when you can't understand whats going on it must be pretty rough.
This is what happens when you ask for actual reasoning on this issue though. You just claiming you "understand science forward backward and upside down" lol. I can imagine its rough with how much you struggle following whats going on.
Are you asking my opinion on if they should be allowed? Or if they would be essential in the order? In the order, essential I believe. Personally...
Grocery shopping is essential imo so yes still allowed. I think it should be online for those that can and in person should still have restrictions on capacity/masks/distancing.
The other two I would say less so on essential but online/pick up (so not standing in a store browsing, order ahead) seems reasonable.
There are tons of businesses across the country crippled with extra restrictions, go ahead start arguing for each one in the same way. This is an across the board thing, you are focused on how it affects religion specifically and that's what the case is about. You even made it about that multiple times with accusations at others out of no where it seems to have clouded your judgement some.
Well.if we specifically talk about other businesses i will argue for them. Right now we were talking about churches and people arguing about them not needing to be open. That's a very ignorant stance.
And my initial accusation still stands, church is under the microscope because it fits within the atheist agenda. [emoji846]

Church is under the microscope because of the challenge/scotus ruling lol. That’s the topic, them fighting against restrictions placed on them like other non essential business as being singled out (despite it being based on that label).
You are still focused on and bringing up an atheist agenda. Seems like religion matters to you as stated.

In general religion matters to me, yes. As far as covid response, it doesn't.
They are right to seek essential status because as you explained they are clearly being regulated beyond necessity. If seeking essential status allows them to operate safely then I support that.

Notice she said she is willing to die for her religion. It is clearly more essential to her than eating inside a restaurant. That should be one of the takeaways here. Why? To help illustrate how your opinion is arbitrary.
