What's wrong with Ferguson's model? If it has a death rate of 0.5% then that would probably be the expected number of dead people. We didnt know the death rate and so of course the numbers wont be spot on. But it's still following sound logic. Sometimes the logic is wrong, that doesnt mean we should now take illogical approaches.

Why wear a mask now? Welp, what happens of we dont? What happened in NYC was the tip of the iceberg compared to what would happen across the country. How is it you are in health care yet you dont hold this opinion? Dont you agree that breakouts that overwhelm the health system would occur everywhere? If not, why not?

Yes, most people would still be aware because they would have coughs going on for months.

I don't like Trump and never have; however, I never really cared much about him one way or the other. In fact, I initially found a decent amount of humor in the fact that he was elected to be president and often called many of the liberals on this site out for hanging on his every word and freaking out about everything he said or did. I didn't think he was much more than a loudmouth doofus up until seeing how poorly he has handled COVID-19. Now I also realize he's a reckless egomaniac with little regard for human life and openly talk **** about him when appropriate.

Cugard is a nurse, jack ripper is a tech. I used to work in health care and I legit cant wrap my head around how it is that they hold the opinions theyve shared about coronavirus on this forum.

I understand the boosted numbers argument, that's definitely a thing and I'm sure they saw it and have an opinion on it. But outside of that, I'm surprised with just how flat out wrong and ignorant a lot of their opinions are. Its weird.
