People thought 18 months was way to ambitious to create a vaccine and many experts were in the 5-10 years range based on past methodology and how SLOW CDC moves. The scientists on CNN /MSN beat the drum on how it couldn't happen. Less than 9 months to first stick in Hospitals. This is the warp speed, the money to build the plants / increase capacity at the start and the agreement to purchase along with the CDC and the emergency use and the first Covid bill.
