Then you've been wrong since day 1.
I guess thats the problem right there. We have idiots who have just "been saying" things since day 1. Looks like another maga is on their way to a herman cain award.
The CDC has loosened things up a bit for those of us in healthcare. Those of us that are up to date on our vaccines no longer need to wear masks unless we are in direct contact with patients, but companies are allowed to keep mask-mandates in place if they wish.
‘I’m Dropping My COVID Hubris,’ Vows a Top Immunologist
https://thetyee.ca/Analysis/2022/09/...-COVID-Hubris/Quote:
Last May a subvariant of the ever-evolving Omicron stunned Chris Goodnow, an internationally renowned immunologist.
The extremely fit Australian scientist, who hiked, biked and surfed at Sydney’s Manly Beach, had been bolstered by four doses of vaccine. Having spent nearly four decades studying how white blood cells in the immune system protect us from infection, he felt pretty safe about removing his mask.
“Maybe it would be better to catch the ’rona and get it over with, now that I’m fully vaccinated?” he remembers speculating.
“After all, isn’t it just a cold in fully immunized people? And once I’ve had it, won’t I have acquired immunity that will mean I won’t get sick at all if I get it again?”
But Omicron made a mockery of these popular assumptions.
On May 26, Goodnow came down with a scratchy throat. Twelve days later his immune system had not cleared the virus. Then he got hit by congestive heart failure. He developed a chest cough and was breathless. His ankles swelled up.
Goodnow was lucky. His acute myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) was on the mild end of the spectrum but severe enough to reduce his mobility and working life.
As a consequence of the infection, last July Goodnow resigned his directorship of the Immunogenomics Lab at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney, Australia, “for health reasons.”
In a remarkably blunt interview with an Australian radio station, and later a personal column, Goodnow admitted that COVID had not behaved as widely expected.
“That is the thing that really stunned me and I’m sure has stunned most immunologists,” he said in the radio interview.

My whole household got it about a month ago, and it was ****ing awful. I just slept at random times because I was so exhausted, and it steadily got worse over about four days. My symptoms started showing up on a Monday morning, a day after my partner had already tested positive, and by Thursday she was starting to feel better and I was still getting hammered by it. She said she's never seen my just look so drained, and I don't remember the last time I felt that bad, but it's been decades easily. I called my doctor that Thursday and got Paxlovid, but then woke up that night and felt like I was coming out of it for the first time, so I held off on starting it since I knew it could be pretty rough and increased the risk of a rebound case. I ended up getting better from there, but my child and I both still have a lingering cough that has stuck around even a month later. It's super ****ing annoying, and I don't envy anyone that caught it while being unvaccinated.
I believe I caught it unvaccinated. But that’s because I believe I got it back in January/February 2020. I’ve since gotten vaccinated as has my whole family. My brother just missed a week plus of work due to it. His symptoms were mild and comparable to a moderate cold. He was coughing, aching, and had trouble sleeping. My grandmother got it and she basically just has a cough.
My parents and grandma got it a few months ago and it wasn't bad at all. My neighbors, a young family of four, all have it currently and are being leveled by it. The youngest, a four year old girl, even had to be rushed to the emergency room the other day.
Despite numerous flights, concerts, and baseball games, I have somehow still avoided it (though I wouldn't be shocked if I unknowingly got it sometime in 2020).
Lmfao Pfizer ceo got it twice now
