Telling people not to take a vaccine without being consulted by their doctor is a lot different than the steadfastness of those who chose not to take any measures (masks, vaccines, etc) and disregarded the science before the vaccine and thereafter. What because people like Pelosi weren't concerned with it initially? Who knew that the virus would become the worldwide pandemic that it became when it had just started? Sure, a lot of people were wrong on that front but that doesn't change the fact that there were significantly large groups of people who took little to no measures even when the virus became more prevalent.
