Well not to point out the obvious, but this was an amendment and Schumer can't stop an amendment from being considered. He can (I believe) limit the amount of amendments but he can't stop a particular amendment.

Its pretty clear what side she is on. The point of the tweet is how hypocritical she is her saying that people shouldn't be speaking so confidently on a subject they know nothing about. Like her and the vaccine.

Subsequent comments she made is that she had to continue doing "more research" on whether she should get the vaccine.
