Imagine lying about Biden calling people dumb or stupid for not taking the vaccine to push partisan hackery.
Imagine lying about Biden calling people dumb or stupid for not taking the vaccine to push partisan hackery.
Imagine Biden doing something right. The odds of that happening are the same as me lying about Biden to push partisan hackery.
I do not tell lies. I simply tell the uncomfortable truth about the president. He is a dismal failure in nearly everthing.
Herd immunity is a concept that did not happen in this pandemic, obviously. Explain how I was wrong about it, and be specific, remembering that I recall everything the CDC had to say about it in 2020-21 having followed them daily at work.
edit:
Attempt #2. Tell me what Biden has done right about Covid.
This is not proving anything. You are simply listing the theory of herd immunity.
You have 2 questions to answer now. How was I wrong and what had Biden done right about Covid.
I do not anticipate a coherent answer anytime soon on either, as Google won't help you. You will have to actually think for yourself and not regurgitate useless information from Google.
Nate, let me explain why we didn't reach herd immunity to you in this case. We did not get enough people world-wide vaccinated early in 2021 and the virus mutated several times. It will be very, very difficult to gain herd immunity to Covid, due to the fact that wild animals are serving as vectors for the virus world-wide. All we can hope for is that it mutates into a form that is less dangerous to humans and continue the efforts to get more people vaccinated.
Now, again I will ask you to explain how I am wrong about herd immunity. Also, tell me what Biden has done right about Covid.
Congratulations on your natural immunity! Hopefully you can still understand the concept.

McIntyre and his colleagues conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of 81 studies that had a follow-up time of at least 12 weeks since a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis. The studies included 56 prospective cohort studies, 14 cross-sectional studies, 10 retrospective cohort studies, and 1 retrospective case-control study.
The meta-analysis included fatigue data for 25,268 individuals and cognitive impairment data for 13,232 individuals. Fatigue was assessed with scientific questionnaires such as the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy and the Fatigue Severity Scale. Cognitive impairment was assessed with a variety of validated diagnostic tools, including the Montreal Cognitive Assessment and the Telephone Interview for Cognitive Status.
McIntyre and his colleagues found that approximately a third of individuals (32%) experienced persistent fatigue, while slightly more than one in five individuals (22%) showed signs of sustained cognitive impairment.
An analysis of 14 studies that investigated inflammatory markers in COVID-19 patients revealed that a subset of individuals showed signs of systemic inflammation 12 or more weeks following diagnosis. Several studies noted an association between heightened inflammation and long COVID symptoms, “suggesting hyperinflammation is an amenable cause of fatigue and/or cognitive impairment,” the researchers said.
Furthermore, 34 studies investigated the functional consequences of post-COVID syndrome, including limitations related to physical activity and occupational status. Post-COVID syndrome was associated with “marked levels” of functional impairment, the researchers said. Approximately 16% to 28% reported being unable to partake in a sport or recreational activity. Between 8% to 39% reported disruption in their work life and between 29% to 47% of those who were employed prior to infection were unable to return to work.
You have not. You were wrong. Their prediction didn't "fail."
You know they say imitation is the highest form of flattery? I appreciate the compliment.
But the answer isn't going to change.
Just like you're never going to tell me about Trump's focus on the "qualifications" of the people on his list of SCOTUS nominees.
Again, congratulations on strawman. This proves nothing, however. I was not talking about natural immunity, which I can explain nicely if you wish.
My explanation of herd immunity is correct.
Attempt #4:
What has Biden done right about Covid?
Biden has been pushing for vaccination and masking. That is the core of what he has done right. Everything comes from that basic fact. He is pushing people towards making the right moves. Incentivizing people to get the vaccine to reintegrate into society and make better health decisions.
Why does the equation changing prove that I was wrong? Hint -- it doesn't.
As I said, we did not get enough people vaccinated world-wide initially. That, along with the virus being vectored in wild animals, allowed it to mutate several times. We will not likely ever reach herd immunity in this situation. The best we can hope for (as I previously said) is that the virus mutates into a form that is not dangerous to humans.
Attempt #5:
What has Biden done right against Covid?
And by the way, this is mocking your "debate" style, not mimicking it. You are incredibly good at not answering legitimate questions.
It certainly would have been headline news had the president called anti vaxxers dumb or stupid yet not one iota of any such thing exists. Wonder why..
Which means I was not wrong about my statement. The equation has changed. The virus has mutated, making herd immunity nearly impossible, especially with wild animals being a vector for the virus, allowing it to mutate further and quicker. Had we gotten more people vaccinated world-wide initially, we might have had a chance to gain herd immunity.
Now, what has Biden done right about Covid (Attempt #6)?
Attempt #7 -- What has Biden done right about Covid?
I think PSD has broken poor, old catman. :(
