the bold is surprising to hear from some people here.

I think the media should be held to the higher standard. they are the ones that should be covering things accurately and they're not. they should have journalistic integrity, they should be responsible for getting things right. they should do their job better because the people expect them to get things right, to not have bias.

Trump is a politician, not surprising sometimes he is going to spin things like should (sadly) be expected from anyone in politics.

I don't know why it's surprising to you. The general consensus is the media is **** and pretty much everyone on here can agree on that. It's been posted numerous times

The president should be held to a higher standard then the media. The guy is a divisive thin skinned man child. He needs take responsibility for his actions every once and a while. All he does is point fingers and try to blame others. He's a TERRIBLE leader and a terrible person.

I mean you can put the majority of blame on the media and they are for sure partly to blame but if the president started acting like a president instead of an entitled little ***** he'd probably get some more favourable coverage.

why would anyone believe the bold.

if Trump acted more like a leader and tried to unite the country I'm sure he would get some more favorable coverage, but I bet a significant majority would still be the same.

Clearly most of the countries that have high degrees of travel …US, UK, Italy, France, Spain…also have high degrees of the virus. You don't think there is a connection there? Maybe Germany is an outlier, maybe they're doing something right. But, clearly, countries with a lot of visitors are not doing well.

And as far as comparing small countries like ROK to large countries like the US……

Aren't you some sort of educator???? You promote yourself that way so I will go with that assumption.

If the government came out with some complex program for colleges…

Would the community college inOshkosh have an easier time implementing it than say UCAL Berkeley????

Community college is a fraction of the size with pretty much all local people (all the same). Everybody is retty much in one place. Compare that to UCAL Berkeley (or Ohio State, or Florida State etc) all the diversity, all the different income levels, all the different areas of study, all the different ideas.

Which college would handle it better????

Even if you don’t think the US mishandled this, they’ve absolutely botched how to take care of their citizens.

Canadians received a $2000 payment from the government in a matter of days. I haven’t even heard back from unemployment. The government is just trying to press people into thinking this virus is over with so that people will start going back to work. It’s pathetic.
