Calling people standing on top of one another and those protesting missing their prom stupid isn’t being against opening up. People really aren’t fair apart on this one. Most conservatives aren’t those idiots storming the court house and i don’t think any liberals are saying lock it down until we have a vaccine.

The debate over when to open up is probably one of the hottest topics in the US right now outside of whether Carole Baskin killed her husband. The idea that we all generally agree on this topic is ridiculous. The states are in disagreement with one another.

Obviously time is the crux of the issue. The dems plan to reopen America has basically been, "hey, we need to keep waiting and see what happens." Not really a plan to reopen. Obviously the right is more open to moving faster.

I find it kind of hilarious that mom and pop liquor stores are open but the local barber has to stay closed. I've never seen more than like 7 people in one at a time.

If you say you want things opened up you're often met with the accusation of wishing death upon people.

You're a basketball fan... you honestly think we couldn't run the postseason right now without fans? We have tests kits now. Capitalism prevailed.

Liquor stores were allowed to stay open throughout bc a lot of people get sick without liquor. . Do I think barbers should be opening now? Sure, I think they probably should be following some rules but so long as they know them - sure. As for the NBA no I don’t think they should start the NBA playoffs tomorrow. I think there are a lot of moving parts in 16 teams conducting and broadcasting the NBA playoffs. I think we should give people and organizations a chance to get used to new norms for a short time before trying to do something on that scale. I don’t think there is much distance between the average Dem and the average Rep on this one. Its certainly not abortion and something people should be able discuss or work on without the conversation taking on the tenor of an abortion debate
