He is a moderator, he was away for a while but is now seemingly back (not sure to what extent he wants to moderate though).

I believe Scoots asked him a while back and he accepted? Scoots was trying to find people that wanted to help and Benny had some ideas he liked at the time I believe. I honestly don't fully remember how it happened.

Either way it is laughable that you call another poster vile given what you spew here on a regular basis. If you can show specific examples that are worse than say the post I just deleted in the other thread for bigotry from you feel free. You just saying something is essentially meaningless given your history here though.

I'm pretty even keeled in the absence of traitors. I've only posted in the last year to remind folks that we need to make a distinction between veterans, who deserve our respect and support, and traitors, like yourself. You seem to want to confuse the two which is pretty gross.

As Gopher and others have told you, the rules in this forum are more lax. Benny was a moderator before those rules were changed but if you want to mix it up, that's your call. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. And no on plays dumber games on here than you.

You can leave if you want. Just imagine its the other forums who banned you. I'm sure the mods there were all power hungry as well. Has nothing to do with the moronic **** you spew daily.

Yeah, Scoots asked me. I was around all the time and thought we should enforce rules. That became 30 reported posts a day from the same half dozen people that wanted to have each other banned. As I've said privately, I don't know what the "right" way to moderate this forum would be so I have no criticism for how it's being run. It's a thankless job, made impossible by having to explain the nuances of decisions of a group of 5-7 constantly changing people with consistency. I was always willing to let users know where my lines were, but I couldn't really speak for the group(mods).

I don't really have a desire to moderate this forum again, which is the likely sentiment from most the users. That's most of what there is to tell.

Yup and when they tried it after you left the exact same thing happened.

The only options imo are where we are at now and just delete the most extreme posts while most of the rest is allowed (also meaning people can handle trolls how they wish instead of worrying about gotcha games) or permaban most of the users. In the end those are essentially our basic options imo.

I don't even want to be moderator lol. I have offered it up multiple times to those that think it should be run different. I would just rather handle some of this BS than see the gotcha games be effective like they were before. Dealing with the rest of the mods is definitely an issue because they have no idea what this forum is like on an every day basis.
