Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House's coronavirus task force response coordinator, blasted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during a discussion on COVID-19 data in a recent meeting, The Washington Post reported on Saturday.
"There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust," she told CDC Director Robert Redfield, two people familiar with the meeting told the newspaper.
The Post reported that Birx and others feared that the CDC's data-tracking system was inflating coronavirus statistics like mortality rates and case numbers by up to 25%.
Birx later told The Post in a statement that "mortality is slowly declining each day."
Holy **** can we stop comparing this to the flu?
It does not spread like the flu. It does not attack the body like the flu. The at risk group appears to be wider. Even Fauci covered this, but I haven’t checked conservative news today so I’m not sure if you love him or if dear leader has called him a loser or some childish thing to sway you the other way.

Comparing is not equating. One can compare the way this coronavirus attacks the body with the way the common flu attacks the body ... in fact you just did "it ... like the flu". One can compare the way it spreads with the common flu ... in fact you just did "it .. like the flu". In fact you said Fauci compared them too.
Comparing something to something else does not make them the same, it helps communicate things in a way that people familiar with one can more easily understand the other. We do it all the time in sports talk
Railing against comparison doesn't make sense. Rail against the faulty conclusions drawn from the conclusion.
