Reading some of your posts makes me want to binge watch All in the Family.

Bolded…yes but to quote the Beatles…I have to admit it's getting better, It's getting better all the time.
The problem is is that the wrong women are coming to the forefront. You need the right person to make that big breakthrough. People that others can relate to. People hate Hilly. People would see Warren as a pushy woman (you can't seem to have a pushy man. oh well, that's the breaks).Michelle O in 2020 would probably win but I doubt if she would be good for the US. None of the squad would be acceptable based on how they present themselves (although I do not know much about Pressley). Pelosi would have been a good choice 8-10 years ago (although now it would be a step down for her). Kamala Harris could win. A big push behind Tulsi Gabbard could have let her lose this election but come back in the next one. Nikki Haley would be terrific and may very well be the first woman president in the future.
The really important president is the president AFTER whoever wins 2020. We are screwed for 4-8 years depending if Trump wins or Biden (or whoever replaces him) wins. Trump winning would actually get the mess over with faster. (How's that for irony.)
2024 or 2028 is the time for a new beginning with fresh faces. Hopefully by then we should be past the dynasties of Clinton (for sure) and Obama (hopefully). Trump will be a memory. Bernie will be old, as will Warren, Pelosi will be gone, RBG will be planted, McConnel should be gone. All good things to look forward to.
Remember what Clemenza said about Mafia wars…These things come up every seven years or so to clear out the bad blood.
Interesting stuff from The Guardian
“Three-quarters of new or emerging diseases that infect humans originate in animals, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, but it is human activity that multiplies the risks of contagion.
A growing body of research confirms that bats – the origin of Covid 19 – naturally host many viruses which they are more likely transfer to humans or animals if they live in or near human-disturbed ecosystems, such as recently cleared forests or swamps drained for farmland, mining projects or residential projects.
Two years ago, scientists predicted a new coronavirus would emerge from bats in Asia, partly because this was the area most affected by deforestation and other environmental pressures.
One of the authors, Roger Frutos, a specialist in infectious diseases at the University of Montpellier, said multiple studies have confirmed the density and variety of bat-borne viruses is higher near human habitation.”

I guess killing all the bats would be difficult to do. And the animal people would go nuts. Still, spray the caves, kill the bats. Get rid of as many as possible. Who the hell would miss these creepy things????
It's time like this you need to think outside the bats.
They knew that this would be a by-product of deforestation and they still do it. Like lemmings going over the cliff. Can't stop themselves.
