You could look to the Spanish Flu outbreak to see the differences in death rates in this country alone to see how responding differently can change the problem. ****ing St. Louis had a really low death rate in that one largely due to a behavioral intervention. It was St. Louis... if you want to tell me they were healthier I will laugh at you.

Idk man. I’m one of the poster boy liberals on this site and I’ve constantly ripped into Cuomo.

Whether it’s his late response, the fact that he’s using prison labor to slap NYS labels on hand sanitizer, or his opposition to Medicare for all, I don’t like him.

I voted for a ****ing Sex and the city actress in Cynthia Nixon instead of Cuomo.

Cuomo botched this from the start but he’s done an OK since he’s been on top of things. NY being such a weird area and especially being hit harder than most other places in terms of COVID related deaths, I think we have a more difficult situation to contain compared to the rest of the country.

Their is so much **** to hate about the guy, but since he actually states facts in his virus briefings and not make it about himself and pat himself on the back talking about how great of a job he has done people have appreciated him for it, but the dude is shady AF when it comes to more progressive ideals.

In March we were told that anyone who wanted a test could get one. The new Press Secretary now says that such testing won’t be available and isn’t even necessary.
