I had a cousin in her 40's pass last week. My grandma a couple weeks before that. It's been tough. My cousin was a great woman, who unfortunately bought into some of Trump's rhetoric, and thought some of it was a hoax. She left behind two little girls and a husband. We're still waiting to see what made her more susceptible then most but they definitely didn't see it coming. But **** her right. Just another among thousands of the "weak" i guess.

Condolences for your losses. A college friend lost his wife at 30 due to COVID-19. I can’t imagine the pain felt losing someone so young as well as someone who’s made an impact on so many in your family.

It looks like you didn't read or understand what I said. Because my point was that this congressman elect ignored the basic guidelines that have been laid out and got himself infected and who knows how many people that he himself infected. There are photos of him circulating going around maskless in public settings and taking photos right next to men and women in their 70's and 80's also not wearing masks.

This guy left behind a wife and kids too. And while I feel bad that they lost their husband/father. He was going around flaunting even the most basic ways that he could have prevented this from happening. If people didn't know how something could affect them and it hit them, that is horrible. But that isn't the case here and we all know it. He was warned 10 different ways from Sunday by people in all different professions and walks of life.

Thanks. It's rough all over. I'm always amazed at the lack of empathy i see from many on the right.

It's people like this I have no sympathy for and no time to waste worrying about. I don't know your cousin's story so I won't comment on it. But all I will say is that I hope she's not like this douchebag.
