I don't know exact timelines, but I would just wait for the biden administration, personally. If you looked at how the White House doctor described trumps condition to the press, he was clearly not able to just answer questions the way any trained doctor would, he was clearly toeing some political line at the request of the president.

We can't have medical professionals working with this sort of pressure on them, imo. It's just bad for the people. They should be allowed to just focus on medicine.

I dunno, given all the extra potential issue a trump administration presents, might as well wait an extra month or two.

Why? If the vaccines are cleared by the FDA and CDC, they should be released and used. I will take one if it is recommended to me. The way things are going now, waiting 2 months will allow another 50K people get sick.

Speaking of incompetent, Cuomo's response was far worse than Trump's was. His state leads the country in deaths. They are 2nd in infections per million and are not good at all in fatality percentage. He is the last person I would look to for Covid advice.

I think I do advocate it because again, the trump administration clearly does not let science dictate science, it uses politics to dictate science.

To me, that's a scary proposition.

I was referring to Bidens plan, not Cuomo. Yes, cuomo ****ed up big time, as did the mayor. Top of the pyramid is still president tho.

It's funny how some of you guys just love bringing up Cuomo, as if his mistakes somehow erase Trump's mistakes.

you and I are in the midst of some of the highest per capita rates in the country....by state, not necessarily when drilling down to county

I have a mid-December flight to Honolulu...I'd love to be able to have been vaccinated before sitting in a metal tube with 300 people I've never met for 7 hours.....assuming it's still otherwise logical to go by then.

Not to excuse Cuomo, et al — sadly, they made big mistakes — but there is a whole lot more good, science-based information about Covid-19 now than there was in March.

Wonder why those folks out there in the midwest have not used that information effectively?

I'm bringing Cuomo up as he has said that he wants to stop the vaccine from being released until Biden takes office. He has absolutely no room to advise anyone on this subject after his performance. He is the last person in the country I would ask to advise on Covid.
Trump did a poor job of handling the virus, but nothing compared to Cuomo. His performance cost thousands of lives in his state.

Well it's a good thing that Cuomo doesn't have the final say on when and where the vaccine is released.

Both of these guys ****ed up, but the president has more responsibility than any governor. Trump's performance cost thousands and thousands of lives across the entire country. Surprise, surprise though: you'd rather point your finger at a Democrat.

Trump did a worse job, zero doubt about it. Right now he is still completely missing in action, almost an entire year later, AND he is sabotaging the country by not allowing biden to start accessing govt resources to fight the virus.

There is no way a governor is more responsible than the president, especially an absolutely idiotic president who started a movement to oppose masks, the single most destructive behavior was this and it was at dumb *** trumps command.
