Who does have that time? It was basically working a part-time job when I was doing it. That's why I'd agree to do it only if brewers did it with me.

I can only imagine, even with things the way they are it's wasting too much of my time lol. I really thought it would be simple to just send me a PM if something was too offensive. I didn't think some mods would have such an issue with it either and make it a hassle every time the forum came up. There was a long stretch it worked just fine (well outside this place being a little off the deep end if you will) but I guess it's not sustainable with some being so against it apparently.

If people want to use the RP and have mods take action that's fine with me. I tried changing it because everyone complained when that happened and there were some inconsistencies imo (I never really looked at the RP section until I got PM's and the discussions all shifted to how moderation was handled within this forum). I honestly think it would take more than 2 moderators to handle it but I am definitely open to it if we go that route.

I also think it'd benefit the forum for a moderator from the right to be active in this forum. If someone from that side of the isle would like to step, I'm sure that none of the mods that frequent this forum would do anything but advocate for it. So, ball is in your court guys

I have a very simple approach to posting. I like to debate intelligent people. I think spirited debate is fun. I also will not insult or attack those that I disagree with unless they attack me first. I also like to laugh and joke around and again have fun.

This board is no different than others that I have participated in. Unfortunately, virtually every political forum is taken over by liberal small intelligence people like Splff and they like to gang up on Reps and Independents which happens on this site all of the time.

When someone out of the blue decides to call me a TRAITOR, to me it crosses a line. Benny did it after mets and Db said the same thing.

I am perfectly fine with punishing racists and bigots. However, it appears to me that here, as in other sites, calls of bigotry and racism are easily said and unfortunately punishment gets doled out on the accusation rather than the evidence of same. What I want is the rules to be clear and the punishment to fit the alleged "crime".

You said that I had a post deleted a couple of days ago. Why? Frankly, I guess that it might have been a joke. Frankly, Monkeypox, has been made fun of a lot by comedians. And as sure as hell, this board could use a little more levity on it.

As for me, I will play by rules that I consider fair. I've never asked anything from any Mod to ban or discipline anyone. I fight my own battles and am no saint. All I want is fairness on whoever owns this board and moderates it.

Ya I mean I offered it up as an idea so we will see what happens and I am open to stepping back for sure. I didn't realize there would be this many headaches lol. How hard is it to decipher gotcha games and use the delete button I thought. Ugh.

I agree and am fine with you and Brewers being the mods if everyone is in agreement on that. I was asked repeatedly if I wanted to take over when I was pointing out context/consistency issues and finally just agreed so long as we went this route. It's the only way one person can do it and not waste all day and also it stops all the gotcha games which were the main thing causing issues. I just want consistency whatever route is taken. If someone else wants to give that a shot feel free to offer.

I started the traitor talk. I'm not running from a thing, I've been very clear where I stand on this. Words have meaning, if you don't like the words that describe your actions consider changing your actions. How many posts do I need to point to where you praise an insurrection, or where you refuse to acknowledge that the president or the government are legitimate? You support an attempted coup, voraciously. Personally, I don't really even mind that, what bothers me is when you drag my closest friends and family through your **** while you are at it. Be a vet or be a traitor, don't try to be both.

The right/left or conservative/liberal values never really get mentioned so it's tough to tell. The people that whine about the narrative are often the ones who are simply extreme in that culture war described (unfortunately a lot here). Making Brewersfan255 a moderator would be just about as obviously idiotic as making ciaban a moderator years ago was. Speaking of ThomasTomasz: that dude voraciously defended making and keeping ciaban a moderator more than anyone else on this site, which shows how out to lunch he was (or at least how much he couldn't admit to making a mistake or understand the concept of a sunk cost).

Though to be fair, it was kind of fun watching ciaban bury himself over the few months or so he held that role.
