I'll just wait for you to quote me saying that. Take your time.
It's a fact that buying fresh and cooking from scratch is cheaper than eating unhealthy fast food. A big mac with soda/fries will cost around $9 in NYC. I can go to Costco and get a 50 lb bag of rice for $20 that would last one person an entire year... Veggies are dirt cheap and chicken drumsticks is $1 lb.
People want convenience and are lazy. It's just a fact. There is too much disposable income and they want to sit on their couch watching TV or getting on ProSportsDaily saying they can't lose weight because the government won't tax soda or fast food chains more mooooneyz.
Gym is free. Go outside and jog or do situps. If you can't afford to do that, it just means you're fat and lazy.
Now with hospitals having every medication in the book to prescribe for every health issue, these fat slobs think they can just chug these pills and not have to lose their gut.
Jesus Christ.:laugh2:
Clearly they can’t. Your solution to this problem is to just say they should change. That’s not a solution.
If you genuinely think this is a problem we should try to solve, saying “just eat healthier” is no more going to fix this problem than telling criminals “don’t murder or steal” is going to solve crime.
In moderation, rice is good for your diet. It is easy to digest which allows you to feel fuller and consume less overall. I did say a 50 lb bag of rice spread out over a year.... It's not like I am saying you eat the entire bag within a week. The point was to emphasize that you can eat a balanced meal at a much lower cost than eating what many see as cheap and fast food such as McDonald's. It's not really cheap.
If only we had studies that told us why people make poor nutrition choices.
Ah well. I guess it will just have to remain a mystery.
