COVID-19 Response: An issue that shouldn't be at all political....yet here we are

We might be having events like the ones you described if your leader didn’t start making “liberate” tweets less then a week after the CDC put out their guidelines for phased re-openings. If he actually put together the kind of testing and tracing infrastructure they supported but he was moron. Remember when he supported their plan for a day (might have been 2)? He even criticized GA but then he changed his mind and did nothing but point fingers and look to cause unrest for political rivals

As for the celebration, I don’t think they should do it but it’s not an organized event. what else am I supposed to do? Biden didn’t bring them together then brag about crowd size.

Honestly what do you think of the situation in Europe right now? Did they not do contact tracing? The leaders took it serous and now they are in another lockdown

More contact tracing and testing wouldnt have prevent another lockdown. Neither would have a leader who took it serious

We would have prevented a lot of death. We would of had a better shot of not having another huge spike (we might have still had it like a lot places in Europe). Maybe we could seen the nation work without his crazy finger pointing and incitement. He was terrible.

Taking proper safety measures is what prevents lockdowns.

Look at UK the night before the new lockdown, no masks at all. That's most likely why the numbers rose and why they has to lockdown again.

Winter will have worse spread naturally, so measures should go up a notch for a few months.
