No herd immunity on the horizon (not thatthere ever was, realistically) The best we can hope for at this juncture is hopeful and reasonable management.

Thank goodness we have some people out there with some common sense. DeSantis might be ok with people dying of COVID but Mickey Mouse apparently ain’t playing games.

These people should be charged with assault. She went in their maskless.

Wrong,
I am saying that you are being at best insincere by saying one lady deserves to be criminalized when there is another lady that needs similar treatment.
Again we only have part of the video but the part we do have shows the "council" woman sitting about 12 inches from another "council" person with no mask.
You never fail to have the stupidest arguments.
If you are talking about the woman with the yellow mask, several observations; first, said council woman is standing, not sitting.
Second, her attitude (standing with a mask pulled down) suggests that in all likelihood, she had the floor and was speaking to the assembly when she was probably interrupted (agreed, we’d need the rest of the video for confirmation). Indeed, she failed to pull up her mask, but she does have one.
As such, there appears to be a qualitative difference between the two women in question, a difference that perhaps may be too nuanced for some persons to comprehend.
I think there was another woman on the far left without a mask, but It looked like they were generally keep distance from each other. I think the obsession with mask wearing is getting in the way of progress now. We need to be telling people that if you are vaccinated you don't have to wear a mask anymore.
I saw data recently that basically said 18% of people (made up of people across the political spectrum, but more than half conservatives), but the rest of the people not vaccinated just need little nudges to get vaccinated. Convenience of a vaccine gets 15% more people covered, but something like 30% get there with some clear and present benefit of getting vaccinated ... like not having to wear masks, like being able to gather in groups.
