I can’t recall any issue that I’ve really disagreed with Nasty about before. I’m sure there might be some space between us on issues but nothing that I would categorize as a strong disagreement like we had earlier this month or late last (forget the exact date).
There is far more space between you and I on many issues. Which is fine. But I didn’t know what specifically you were referring to.
Imagine thinking a bill with COVID liability protections is what we need when the Tyson company not busted betting on how many people would test positive for COVID.

Judge finds San Jose church in contempt for health order violations
https://www.sfchronicle.com/crime/ar...photo-20360071Quote:
A Santa Clara Superior Court judge found San Jose’s Calvary Chapel and its pastor in contempt of court Tuesday, and fined the church as much as $55,000 for continuing to hold large, indoor religious services in defiance of public health orders and mandates from the court.
Calvary Chapel and its pastor, Mike McClure, were found to have defied a Nov. 2 court order that directed it to follow then-current public health regulations that limited gatherings, including religious meetings, to no more than 100 people indoors and required attendees to wear masks and practice social distancing. Churches were also required to submit plans on how they would protect members. County inspectors said they found daily violations of those requirements.
County officials said the church did little to comply with the health orders, putting its members and the community at risk of contracting the coronavirus as the number of cases in Santa Clara County surged.
The contempt ruling came as several churches across the nation challenge the government’s right to regulate where and how people can worship in the midst of a surging pandemic. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Nov. 25 that New York couldn’t enforce a state limit of 10 or 25 people at religious gatherings.
Judge Peter Kirwan said the orders issued by the county’s health department were necessary to help slow the surge of the coronavirus and that the church needed to comply with those orders — and the court’s.
“Even if you disagree with those opinions, these orders do have a purpose,” he said. “You can’t just ignore those rules and regulations nor can you ignore a court order just because you disagree with them.”
During his press conference, Trump said it's terrific that 15% of the country has covid, which seemingly confirms the theory that Trump's actual covid strategy was to attain herd immunity.
I think herd immunity was the default strategy regardless. But there are many ways to get to herd immunity, one way is let it burn thru unchecked and reach herd immunity fastest.
The common sense approach, imo, would be to mandatory distance for 18 or so months so economy could stay open but numbers never break threshold. By the end of that timeframes vaccine should be widely distributed and now at herd immunity with minimum deaths.
