The truth is, from a neutral perspective, the US is currently pushing a HEAVY anti chinese propganda campaign (which I'm not necessarily mad at btw, but they dont seem to be getting anyone on board, so **shrug**), and china is very aware of it. They dont want America around them right now. They dont trust us the way we dont trust them.
