I mean the people who committed suicide because they lost everything in this, you can’t bring them back either
My main issue was shutting everything down when it wasn’t even warranted in most areas

You don’t even have to hide that you only do your job for favors and if people kiss your ***
Except the number who died by suicide is nowhere near the number dead from Covid. It’d be like saying we shouldn’t wear seatbelts because even though it saves a ton of lives, sometimes a person will get trapped by them in a car and die because they can’t get out.
Yes, those are tragedies, but again. Would you rather 50,000 die via suicide or 500,000 die via Covid?
I believe that we do not know yet the confirmed number of suicides in the US since mid-march 2020 (if we do, I don’t know where the figures are) so right now all this about an increase is speculation.
Furthermore, the actual suicide rate has been climbing steadily since the turn of the century (from 10.7 per 100,000 in 2001 to 14.2 per 100,000 in 2018), so a certain increase, sadly, might have been expected anyway, despite the onset of the pandemic.
All that said, suicide remains a public health problem, given that roughly 50,000 Americans choose it per year.
Really? You mean when more time goes by more production is possible? I would hope the administration would be doing more. You have this belief based on the above that when the vaccines would be approved they'd magically have millions if not billions of doses ready to go. Not shocking at all that you can't admit you are wrong again and that your hatred has to find some way to praise President Biden and hate more on President Trump.
Its not just production. The Trump administration promised doses they couldn't deliver on then under delivered in terms of providing a legitimate plan to administer the doses that were available.
Coming from the guy who continually brings nothing to the table and likes to wrap up all his counter points in what he thinks are witty one liners.
Just like the other thread, I'll wait to see if you have something worth responding to.
The Trump administration had limited control on the actual production of vaccines but absolutely had control on pre-ordering them. In that respect the Biden administration benefits from the increased production of doses making more available. But the Trump administration absolutely fell short in putting together a quality plan of disseminating and administering vaccines.
Cases have dropped by 77%, according to the Wall Street Journal:

We may have our herd immunity by the end of April, which would mean an end to the lockdowns and that the country can open up shortly thereafter.
lol, hmm..
I've been noticing the sharp decline as well and have been wondering if we are turning that corner on herd immunity.
We really have no idea what the true positive rate has been this whole time, we mostly only tested people coming in for symptoms.
I'm not counting on it but that would be some welcomed news.
