conspiracy much? the more people pass that kind of info the more people are going to start taking matters in their own hands and instead of buying toilet paper by the 10yr supply people are going to start buying guns and ammo.. thats when things are going to get really scary.
they already have a treatment of malaria drugs and a Zpak that are showing to be 3 times more effective at treating this virus. i'll people should be doing is trying to stay, healthy, happy, spending time with loved ones and trying to keep a sense of humor. The more panic ANYONE creates, the scarier this thing gets
Caution. We all want and need hope and a positive horizon. I mentioned this study several days ago. It is a very small sample. Some healthcare professionals are warning the combo may be lethal in combination (hydroxychloroquine & Azithromycin) and can lead to cardiac arrhythmias and sudden death. The early small sample results were encouraging, the combo was effective, the consequence could be troublesome.
Dr. Fauci: the "anecdotal reports ... may be true," and that the President's message of "hope for people" with coronavirus is "not unreasonable" & "not incompatible" with total confirmation.
Dr, the housing market and banks collapsed because of the Democrats in the 90’s passed laws that gave mortgages to anybody. Thst was under Clinton. It was bound to pop...
And talking about Obama taking over a sick economy? Of course
BUT HIS POLICIES were horrible! The growth was awful... The worst economic growth spurts ever Dr.
8 years and very little growth per quarter. Trump chopped the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% to help stimulate jobs and the economy starts to roar. The trade deals made things more fair...why should the US always get screwed with those old deals?
Anything that is positive for the US you and the other Dems call it bad or don’t recognize the good in it because it was done under Trump.
Trump’s policies are great for American Growth. The opposition will ALWAYS find the negative and even if it is very tiny they still magnify it to make it sound not as good...
I have intentionally stayed out of this political fray, but I agree, interjecting politics into this conversation is ludicrous. Trump wants to be optimistic and give hope to the hopeless. He may have been a little too optimistic, but that's his role as partly cheerleader in chief. Few can deny that he has done right by the country in terms of the travel ban from China within 3 weeks. There was a little too long a delay from Italy, but even that's explainable, since you'd have to ban the entire European Union, since there is open travel throughout continental Europe. Trump haters will find his travel bans either too slow or too overbearing and alternate their opinions depending on their narrative for the day.
All I know is that he's trying to do his best. He has allowed the states to implement whatever they think is best to keep their people safe and has pledged Federal assistance where needed, he sent a hospital ship to New York, he invoked the war powers act, he's instructed industries to retool to manufacture hand sanitizer to WHO specifications, he's ordered the production of more surgical masks, he's heeded the advice of the CDC and while Schumer and McConnell worry about politics, he's given Congress virtually an open checkbook to support family leave, unemployment benefits, cash to families, assistance to affected sections of the economy, etc.
He has been hands on involved since Day One. I cannot criticize the man who is our President, though many will try their hardest to do so.
Do you understand the ramifications of the policy? It does have a Stalinist tone.
Huge potential implications for habeas corpus –– the constitutional right to appear before a judge after arrest and seek release. Not only would it be a violation of that, but it says affecting pre-arrest, that means you could be arrested and never brought before a judge until they decide that the emergency or the civil disobedience is over. The thought should scare the **** out of all.
I have also tried to steer clear of political comment. Remaining focused on news and pertinent research. However Nick has been hammering away at the D's and ignoring the absolute mess we are in as the result of our leadership.
None of the things bolded have come to fruition. (Mercy and Comfort are weeks if not months away from actually being deployed) He basically told the states you will have to fend for yourself. He has proven how ill equipped he is as a leader particularly under stress and faced with crisis. His pressers are an embarrassment imo.
I understand he may be trying to quell fear and panic. But his denials from the outset were gross negligence and complete mismanagement.
There is a distillery in Boston that changed its production to sanitize. The guy has kept his staff employed and is helping the community.
I wish more and larger companies would follow suit. I would like to see the President force that. Today. Not tomorrow or in a week. Now.
I would bet a car manufacturer can make ventilators for a couple months and we'd have a surplus.
I applaud his sending the navy ship but it will take weeks fo it to get there.
I applauded his comment that states should get things done as fast as they can and he would reimburse. He essentially cut all the red tape to make it easier to get equipment needs.
But he then outbid the governor of Ma to get materials and patted the federal gov for winning bids. so he basically said you can have this, whoops, nope, you can't.
This is uncharted territory and mistakes will be made but if people can't acknowledge the good with the bad or the bad with the good, we deserve everything we get.
There is a middle ground. The man has not done a poor of a job as the press is making out but he has also not done as great a job as some say.
I personally hope he does a great job the rest of the way.
^ that's really cool, didn't even think about that. Should be doing that with more large business. Just give them the blueprint and tell them to make supplies that we need.
^^Trump claimed to have enlisted the help of GM to make ventilators. We shall see. Also still waiting on the Google diagnostic website, that was "ready to roll out."
I have been reading about many small businesses volunteering to sew masks, gowns ect. In fact a few NYC designers have put their entire teams of seamsters to work on necessary PPE. Ordinary citizens in NYC, NJ and vicinity are bringing their personal supply of gloves, masks and other equipment to local hospitals. The American spirit is alive and well. The goodness and humanity surface during crisis.
