Drew appeared tone deaf and given the climate, he also sounds out of touch. If he wants to take that outmoded approach then he has to deal with the repercussions of his dialogue.

Its parallel to "all lives matter" in terms of how tone deaf it is.

It was a dumb opinion. Its completely blind to what is going on in the world. The kneeling has nothing to do with the flag and American soldiers. It has to do with systemic racism, police brutality, the need for cultural change, etc

It wasn’t a dumb a opinion . It was a valid one simply because sports are no place for politics . People go to sporting events to forget about everyday life for a couple hours . And considering how much nfl has suffered since then , a good portion of the people agreed with him .
