Again the problem with regular testing is its ongoing. Antibody testing allows for it to be a one shot deal. If you have antibodies, the chances are better that you won't contract the virus because you already have had it. Neither that theory or the antibody tests are full proof though.
Not to mention, none of your theory about most of us having been exposed to the virus holds water. LA county just did a study where only 4.1% of the people tested had coronavirus antibodies in their system. That's significantly higher than they thought but if even you grew that out exponentially (remember not everyone is tested and there is margin for error), that means only 400,000 people have had the coronavirus of a population of over 10 million people.
