Well I mean it isn't the nicest of places. But all crime rates are down dramatically since the new implementation.

I mean if you're not for better police training and oversite in this scenario given in the article, what's your idea?

But from what I've read, they're not actually getting rid of the police force. There will still be a police force.

We absolutely should not get rid of the force itself, it seems they're just going to transition to another style of police using more community policing and those who use excessive force will actually be held accountable. As it should be. Just because you're a LEO doesn't mean you're above the law.
