Coronavirus politics and news.

The Senate and Congress passed a 484 billion dollar new stimulus bill for small businesses, hospitals, etc. I wonder what they expect to happen when another 2-3 million people lose their jobs this week. Its great they are passing aid but where is the way to help the average American right now? Many of those 1200 dollar stimulus checks are gone already to people who had overdue bills, rent, etc.

By shutting down immigration that is likely also putting an end to deportation as well . And at the very least deters people from coming to our borders and spreading the virus

Only way to endure everyone can get the money they need is to start opening up the states as soon as possible and let herd immunity do its thing

Herd immunity isn't a likely outcome. The vaccine or treatment are but that takes time. We obviously can't wait for the latter but shutting down until June (for example) will eliminate a significant % of the virus. The less enumerated cases, the less exposure and the less future cases.

Wrong being shut down until June will never get rid of the virus . It will always be out there . All that will happen is that more people will get sick later rather than sooner .

To hell with the testing kits , they don’t treat or cure the virus . All they do is give the damned govt , an excuse to shut down indefinitely . Start making the antibody tests instead

Do you read? I didn't say it would eradicate it entirely. Lesser cases means lesser chances for it to spread and lower amount of fatalities. 24,000 new cases from yesterday. If you lower that to 1,500- 2,000 new cases (for example) in late May or June, that exponentially shifts the paradigm and gives us more control over the virus.

Spreading it out will only harm the economy more . The best thing to do is to start opening as soon as possible
