Why on earth would Bernie Supporters do the opposite of their beliefs and vote for Joe Biden? That makes zero sense.

List the major things Trump has done to positively impact our education, healthcare, infrastructure, racial equality and social service systems?
If you want to list the economy, ok. I agree. It was looking very good before this happened. (A bit of a paper house but it still looked very good)
It's all relative Nick. Compared to tRump he's FDR, Reagan, and JFK ! So the jokes on you. Laugh all you want. Biden may not have been the best choice, I would put his experience and record up against tRump any day and twice on Sunday. D's had one objective, beat Trump. In their opinion Biden was the one. As I have said many times before, his choice for VP is critical and getting Bernies base to get on board is equally so. If they stay home, like they did in 2016, we could have a closer race. If you are honest with yourself you can not ignore the cracks forming in Trumps base. The foundation is unstable. (He cut corners again, used cheap concrete and non union labor!) Many are beginning to see thru the facade, particularly seniors.
I have a feeling had the D's picked Bernie or Harris or Amy or Pete, you would be saying the same thing.
His entire campaign from his bunker will be just about coronavirus and Social injustices. Nothing more and nothing less. The Dems are happy is is hiding in his bunker because of the gaffes that were not made in the past 3 months.
I love how people on here critique Trump for going into his bunker during the civil unrest yet they won’t even talk about Biden hiding in his hole. And save the coronavirus excuse. Hell, even Cuomo had pressers and still does. He doesn’t live in a hole. Why can’t Joe Biden practice social distancing with his campaigning? You know why? Because they are trying to minimize what damage he could do to himself and are using the virus as a shield. This is an election year, come out and campaign for Christ sakes.
Focus Nicky, focus. I was debating one issue, literacy and education and Bernie's opinion of such. This had MUCH less to do with Castro and the communists and much more to do with Bernie's defense of such. As I said in closing, "I am certain you will come back with a litany of atrocities perpetrated by the communists in Cuba, none of which I will deny or refute."
But the Democrats HAD 4 years to get ready!
And Joe Biden is the best they had to offer?
Hell Joe seems like a likable guy, one you can have a beer with at a baseball game. But that is the best the Dems have? Seriously? He is the one to face Trump?
I believe a lot of the Dems will vote for Trump just because of how angry they are with the choice that represents their side. This will be their PROTEST VOTE in some ways. How ironic is that?
Why? First, they are not as antithetical as you suggest. I would gather they are far more at odds with Trump than Biden. So you see them voting for Trump? Or simply staying home? One I would say is an impossibility, the other more realistic. Imo, what needs to happen is for Bernie to get more involved in the campaign, get more vocal in his support of Biden.
And at the same time people who have it are not all going to their deathbeds. I am not in no way trying to minimizing it. I’m just saying not every single case is the same.
Nobody will still give me a proportional chart with regards to the severity of each case.
The media on,y seems to focus on the death. And yes, one death from this is horrible. But when less than one percent of the population has this virus I find it a little crazy for an entire shutdown of the human race.
How do you know the spread is worse NOW than in March? We didn’t have the testing as we do now.
Klown not trying to be contrary but my wife is a hospital admin for the VFW's in the area. She hates Trump but she said in the roughly 4yrs Trump has been in office he absolutely prioritized the VFW. According to her things that used to take months to get scheduled, like specialty DR's, MRI's ect now are taking a normal amount of time for our health care system, not that that means our health care system is some grand prize.
I could never support the McCain Palin ticket. One of my closest friends grew up next door to her in Wasila, AK, where she got her start in politics, I got to know her through playing hoops with her nephews. In my experience, she was a media whore, a liar, 2 faced person and her favorite nephew is a cry baby ***** on the basketball court. Her nephew @19 had to be flown home from Ireland 2 weeks into the trip because he was so homesick.
I absolutely never could have voted for a ticket that she was on
I don't take that as contrary at all.
I love that he did that. Any person who serves in the military, should be guaranteed a home, food and healthcare.
I was legitimately asking Mush. My point was, I can't stand Trump but I can see things he's done that are good.
I've mentioned this before but if he can pull off a trade agreement with certain African countries and get us out of China's pocket? It would be amazing.
To me, I want a president who does for everyone what he did for the VFW. He has fallen. very, very short in other social services. (For Georgie- So you know, Social services are socialist. But I think we need schools, public healthcare, state run infrastructure...I know you don't. I know you think the education system in this country is as gooded as eet cain beee)

If that ain't sowing the seeds, I don't know what is.
He is setting the stage for a really crappy situation.
How will those who were furious at Gore for the ballot boxes respond to Trump saying the election was stolen?
I agree about PC
I’m not talking about misinformed or or unaware racism
I’m talking flat out
But when someone repeatedly, makes racist comment,
Repeatedly supports racist protocols and views.
I’d say they’re racist And not a little bit. I would say unapologetically racist
The Republican party produces duds too. The fact that Trump was the Republican party nominee in 2016 should tell you that. They had 8 years to find a candidate and a business man/reality show star who was a former Democrat won their party's nomination. It's funny you don't see the irony in that as you type it but what's new I guess.
I'm not a Joe Biden fan but his resume says he can be president. 30+ years as a US senator, 8 years as a VP, etc.
I dont think you're going to see a lot of Dems voting for Trump. I do think the bigger problem is Election day turnout. If Biden loses, its because he couldn't get enough people to vote for him.
It really doesn't matter. If it happens under someone's watch, people are quick to ask "What are you doing to fix it?". So far Trump has done little. They've produced one stimulus bill that hasn't produced infrastructure money to put people back to work and the Republican party has been sitting on the 2nd one for over a month.
You would think if Trump was concerned about his poll numbers he would be pushing the Senate to vote on a new stimulus bill.
People blamed the financial crisis in 2008 on Obama and that happened previous to him taking office. What's fair is fair. Same with people giving Trump sole credit for the economy doing so well previous to the virus when Obama's economy was doing very well in 2015 and 2016 before Trump became president.
I Think I remember trump say that the vaccine would be ready by the end of this year and people said he was nuts. I bet it happens to be widely available either right after Election Day or at around inauguration
