As far as the Cuba thing goes, the other thing they don't get enough credit for is their health care system, its considered one of the best in the world. I know people who have been treated for cancer there and they are far better at it than most.

What sad is Docs down there as of 2010 made about 1,000 peso's a month which equals about 80 dollars a month US. Many docs are forced to drive cabs or find 2nd jobs just to make ends meet

The last thing i'm trying to do is advocate for a communist system, that said they do do something exceptionally well.

Obamacare a fiasco? We can only hope Trump had ONE such fiasco. Trump has no clue, nor do the R's on a replacement. They have control of the senate and the WH for 4 years and what have they produced? It has Obama attached so naturally Trump will try to discredit it in any way possible. There is no need to replace it, if anything it should be augmented and fine tuned.

Obamacare intended to extend health insurance coverage to the estimated 15% of Americans who lacked it and were not covered by other health programmes for the poor and elderly.

Some of the more popular provisions include:

Children can stay on their parent's healthcare plan until age 26

Companies can no longer charge women more than men

Businesses with more than 50 full-time employees must offer health insurance

Really then why is lack of health insurance still problem if Obamacare accomplished all that you said ? Why is health insurance more expensive than ever ? Why has the cost gone up for healthcare a lot of people and why was the term “ if you like your insurance you can keep it “ such a lie?

I mean you only list some pros but saying nothing about how negatively it effected the people too.

If their health care system is so good then why do the people there want to do badly get out of there?
And for someone who claims they aren’t advocating the communist system there , you sure look like you are doing the opposite .

Ask Trump and his corporate buddies!

I see many positives as a result of ACA. Women, people with pre-existing conditions, young adults, the uninsured or under insured have all benefitted in some form. The negatives tend to revolve around cost and SOME employers choosing to cut back on benefits due to rising costs and taking the cheap way out. Shifting the burden onto the employee. Not something that instills a sense of corporate loyalty. I can understand a small business having a difficult choice to make, but larger, multi nationals?

Difficult choice? It caused some small businesses to close due to the costs , and others to cut workers in order to stay afloat . And then there are all the non rich people who didn’t qualify for the insurance to begin with . While the idea behind ACA was good , the product that came from it is very flawed and it should have been replaced with something better .

If u actually READ, i know its difficult, what i said u would have had the answer to the question u asked. Doctors in Cuba only make about a 1000 peso's a month, which is about 100 dollars US. They have to drive taxi's or take other jobs to make ends meet. Thats why so many healthcare workers down there that want to leave that country to make an living equal to their skill set. Imagine being great at your job which is among the toughest jobs in the world an you can afford to support their family on what they make

Where in the world did i say anything to support communism? I said they have been recognized for having one of the worlds top healthcare systems in the world. Thats hardly an endorsement of socialism or communism. The Nazi were excellent at science, that doesn't mean ANYTHING they did trying to promote their movement was an except able things to do to the people and countries they took over. They did terrible, awful things but we never would have completed the Manhattan project if we hadn't recruited Nazi Scientists

I'm not sure if its going to come down to turnout, but the bigger the turnout the better chance Biden has of winning. IMO the real determining factor is going to be if Biden can get Bernie's Bro's to vote for him. If they stay home and don't show up to vote for Biden like they didn't for Hilary, it could be a very long night and the next 4 more yrs for non Trump fans.

I wish i could trust polls, but after last time with the polls almost guaranteeing her victory and turning out so,so wrong i just don't believe they are accurate

I agree with u getting the kids out to vote in large numbers would certainly favor Biden but thats also been a problem historically. For about the last 20 yrs young people have been very willing to volunteer and campaign for a candidate but getting them to actually cast a vote is a lot harder to accomplish

With the way things have gone this yr, neither out come would shock me. I do think more things probably have to go Bidens direction to win than Trump. Biden needs a big turnout, he needs the kids to turnout in record numbers and he absolutely has to get the majority of the Sanders people to come out and vote for him. IMO to win he'll need a solid % of all 3 groups to beat Trump.

I'm going to be very interested to see if the polls really turn out to be legit this time around. I saw 1 today that had Biden leading by 20+ points, no way i believe that, even with as awful as Trump has been. Its going to be interesting to see how thins play out

Yep. As I mentioned yesterday, there are cracks forming in the foundation. Many, particularly seniors, are losing confidence. Behind closed doors even the republican leadership have doubts about him and his ability to lead. His base is a cult, they are unwavering in their support. He can do no wrong. However I don't believe the base is expanding if anything it may be contracting.

Ironic in a way, Bernie would wield such power and influence over the outcome.

what they are not reporting is that the dumb *** mayor and many city counsel members are warning *** if they go in there and break it up i could be grounds for termination. There has been close to 2 dozen rapes that reported, countless shooting, gang style assaults, along with massive property destruction and the leader of the city don't really want to do what necessary to take that area of the city back or put the deserving criminals behind bars.

What i mean by deserving criminals behind bars i'm talking about the agitators that are a part or inciting violence, not the peaceful protesters that are up there trying to accomplish awareness to their movement
