He is not even close to being the only one to blame for this.
Do I think he should have listened back in November? Yes. But with others saying not to worry, I get it.
But then when more warnings started to come, he should have started the ball in motion rather than ignore them.
Fauci absolutely has blame but he has been very proactive since then.
Many governors have all dropped the ball on this. Big time.

My issue is not with anything in January. My issue is the consistent, misinformation and misleading of the public for the first month of the virus's entry into the country. My issue is with the handling of the federal stockpile and putting Jared in charge instead of someone who has legit military experience.
My issue is the politicizing of the virus.
My issue is his concern with the polls and ratings, his sheer lack of leadership, lack of accountability and finger pointing, even at people in this country. The very country his is supposed to protect.
His job is to protect, not throw under the bus.

Mush, I am not being a smart azz by this comment but my life hasn't changed that much. As you said, I go to get groceries and booze. I do my run or bike ride. I walk my dog. I teach online. I play my ps4.
I will start fishing because season is open, I may start surfing soon.
Most of my activities are ones I do alone and can easily keep 20 feet away from others.

Thankfully , my wife has her job and is working from home.

I live a family simple life. I don't really like to go out. I would rather sit in the woods.

Pretty much.

Good news today! New Covid cases per day in the US appear to have peaked.

Lockdowns and physical distancing are paying off. However we must not get complacent.

Sadly, even though new cases/day have flattened, deaths will continue to rise for weeks.

Push back came from Trump himself. #Fauci had to defer because Trump was and is his boss. Nothing more tragic than deference to legal authority in absence of moral authority. In a better world, science would not be muzzled by moral buffoons.

Clown, you are much more critical than I. All the pundits had it wrong, hell even Vegas got it wrong! How often does Vegas get the line wrong? Never! Bernie Bros abandoned the party because their panties were in a bunch. Comey announcement was a another nail, maybe the penultimate, in her coffin. There was clearly a confluence of events that contributed. Were they confident? Yes. Was it overconfidence that led to her demise? Not imo.

It’s not like Fauci has been much more accurate with this virus than trump has been . First he downplayed it like trump did , then he made dire predictions that millions would die from this , then hundreds of thousands and lately he has been saying 60k will die . I don’t have any more confidence in him than anyone else in the govt

The fact is , Fauci has not been much more correct than any other government official . Another fact is , I have no reason to trust him more than any other govt official . What I don’t get is that while you have been so quick to point out whenever trump was wrong about this virus but have been quiet when fauci’s predictions on this virus have been wrong. Why is that ?

Of course Fauci is gonna try to throw trump under the bus when his sorry *** is on the line . He downplayed the virus over 2 months ago like everyone else did . And nearly all of his predictions have been wrong as well .
