Why would you even take a chance? I hope you're being facetious. Hard to know over an internet forum.

Through the magic of being a mod, i can see your deleted post. Look, I'm just quoting the guy you voted for. He's a moron. He thinks getting back to work within the next 2 weeks is a realistic possibility for everyone.
No, I want a president who takes this virus seriously and main concern isn't his re-election in November or governors "appreciating" what he does for them throughout this process. Also he needs to grow up and spend ****ing less time on Twitter. Be the president, act like a grown man, understand this is going to take some time before everything is back to normal and if that means passing more legislation to help people and businesses in the interim so be it. This isn't people living off government. There's a worldwide pandemic that is now concentrated mostly in the USA so we need to play it carefully.
New follow-up study by Dr. Raoult.
N=80 (COVID-19) patients.
Hydroxychloroquine & Azithromycin.
-93% tested negative in at day 8
-97.5% had no virus in lungs after 5 days.

His methods and design on previous study came under attack. This is a follow up to the original with much larger sample.
New Hampshire had to close hiking trails because they were so crowded.
If you don't live in the city, you are lucky. You might have a yard or parks that are big enough that you rarely even see people.
I walk my dog in the woods at least an hour a day. I bump into friends and we keep at least a few feet apart and since we are walking the same direction, I'm not concerned with coughing or spitting on one another, we avoid petting each others pups right now (although it happens and when it does ,you wash hands and the dog when you get home) and when someone else comes through, you move off the path so the person can get through with a good 6 feet of distance.
People need to socialize and should be allowed to do it, as long as they are smart. That''s the issue, they aren't.
My wife and I were talking about this and I think this distancing is going to stick around for the foreseeable future, even after this crisis ends. We will get used to that space and want to have it all the time.
True and I agree. I don't believe I mentioned party or politics. Only that he ignored the manual prepared on the issue. I think we can both agree his handling of the situ has been far less than optimal. He had a manual, a literal road map and it was ignored. This isn't partisan, it's the sad reality.
Methods: Upon admission, patients were grouped into two categories: i) those with an upper respiratory
tract infection (URTI) presenting with rhinitis and/or pharyngitis, and/or isolated low-grade
fever and myalgia, and ii) those with lower respiratory tract infections (LRTI) presenting with
symptoms of pneumonia or bronchitis. The time between the onset of symptoms and
admission, and the time between the onset of symptoms and treatment was documented. Risk
factors for severe COVID-19, including older age, cancer, cardiovascular disease,
hypertension, and diabetes (4), as well as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, obesity and
any immunosuppressive treatments were documented.
I am not trying to start an argument with you, but sorry stupid has no boundaries. The media of China is saying what we are wanting to hear. For the most part people are doing what they are told. The markets are still jammed pack with people. Some western style malls are still open and religious activity is going on more so than ever. Although India is in lockdown they are still nuts to butts on the street. I spend a lot of my vacation time in Asia countries and have gotten to know some pretty nice people who I stay in touch with. For the most, my time here in the Middle East I have been in isolation. Right now and for the past year I am located in a friendly area. I can actually walk off base and go to the mall or restaurant. Heck I can even buy alcohol if I want. Alcohol in a Muslim country is forbidden, but it is here. Iraq is in lockdown. No-one is supposed to have their business open but they do. One of my close friends from Thailand sent me a picture of her family at a temple. There was over a thousand people at this temple praying. We all make mistakes. Not one person is perfect in this world. On this forum we have the left and right throwing grenades at each other. We all do the hindsight thing and say we should have done it this way or that way. I love my Yankees, I love my Country and oh yeah I love my beer.
Stupid has no boundaries, sure. I'm not arguing that. That said, I'm not buying for one second that people in China are gathering like Americans are. With the more oppressive government there, they aren't making the same mistakes. You're always going to have people who don't listen, irrespective of the country they live in. They're will always be isolated incidents of people gathering despite being told not to as well but Chinese people are listening to their government. Whether its out of fear of them or fear of the disease, the progression has slowed down there because they are focusing their efforts on social distancing and staying home.
Americans are too but not to the extent they need to. You can love all that patriotic stuff. Doesn't make you a better American than anyone else. No, this isn't hindsight. They should have shut down NYC weeks before they did. They saw pockets of this stuff in Westchester county going back to early February. With all the people traveling back and forth to the city, they should have known it was a matter of time before all of this became a huge problem.
Politicians unfortunately are reactive instead of proactive.
And this is coming from someone who has been out of work for 3 weeks and not sure when i will get back to work. Luckily, i've been able to save some money because my job pays well (when it is working) and i dont have kids. I know i'm fortunate though. Most people don't have that luxury.
I understand people want to get back to their everyday lives, back to work, etc. This **** is scary because there's not just the human toll in terms of sickness and death but the practical aspect of paying bills, the psychological effects of not leaving the house, etc. Its a cluster**** across the board.
Treatment of 5 Critically Ill Patients With COVID-19 With Convalescent Plasma
Preliminary COVID19 study in
@JAMA_current
- 5 critically ill pts. on mechanical ventilation
- All treated w/ convalescent plasma w/ SARSCoV2 antibody
- In 4/5, SOFA score⬇, viral loads⬇, ARDS resolved
- All 5 stabilized, 3 at home
Convalescent plasma is collected from patients who've recovered from COVID19 and is rich in antibodies essentially immunizing a sick patient with another person's antibodies.

South Korea is seeing more people discharged than treated patients in hospitals as well and they are a democratic country. Some people just listen, observe and pay attention to things better.
Everyone sees things different. Everyone hears thing different. The person speaking may say one thing but you hear it different. I have first hand knowledge of what is going on in Asia and that includes China. I am not pointing my finger in one direction and laying blame anywhere. Yes things should have been done differently, but overall things are going very good. And yes I can be patriotic if I so please. By no means am I applying I am more so than the next person. Maybe the decisions that are being made are being made for a just cause. I don't know. I am nobody, so those reasons will never be shared with me. I will always assume those decisions are being made for the good of human kind. Sometimes I agree sometimes I disagree, either way I don't hate on anyone.
And New Yorkers failed to stay out of Florida.
Why would the State with the most cases come to a State with more elderly people than anywhere in the lower 48?
I hope you all Stay in NY until this passes...
Geez, have some common sense......
And that goes for any hotspot in the Country!
Trump wants to stop the spread yet you have Governors in NY and Connecticut just allowing people to leave the State.....
This is different times people....Is a month asking for too much?
I wouldn't consider a worldwide pandemic that has an indefinite timetable of going away and is focused mostly in the USA as things going "very good". I wouldn't call the record number of unemployment and financial ramifications this has had on the whole world as "very good" either. This is a bad situation with no end in sight. People are projecting with the hopes that there is a calendar date where we can collectively breathe a sigh of relief. We don't know that.
People make a lot of selfish stupid decisions. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt just because. I'm not hating on anyone. Just pointing out something that Americans are uncomfortable with and that's any constructive criticism. We need to stay home, stay away from people, etc. Eventually this will pass but its going to take longer if we don't do what we need to do.
Dr, you love to point fingers about Trump yet you ignore China’s atrocious response to the World....
Why?
No he isn't. Where did you get that from Kinko's post?
It doesn't matter that all these towns and cities aren't affected equally. This is a pandemic where hot spots in different places are popping up everyday. The only way to stop the spread of the disease is to continue social distancing/staying at home and do it for an extended period of time.
The president's idea of people going back to work by Easter is idiotic.
And you blindly defend him.
I have already stated we can not trust China. Like many communist countries they dictate and control the flow of information. However what can't be denied is their response as verified by WHO and other world wide organizations. I was critical of their tactics, in a totalitarian regime you get away with draconian measures less tolerated in democracies.
What I find of NO value is assigning blame in a time of crisis. We are all members of the human race.
Obama was horrible yet you don’t point his faults out....
Dr, I like you but you tend to you really focus on pointing out every single issue with Trump...
You act like he is the savior and everything should have been done perfectly...
I don’t get it....
Dr, in reality no President that we had ever had would or could have been PREPARED for this......
This has strangled the entire World.
This is unchartered waters. Corona virus did not come with an owners manual that says read first. We live in a free Country, and with that people think they can do what they want at any given time. I am very proactive in my everyday life. Things come up, things happen. I eef up all the time. I wish it could all go away, but it is not going to happen. Again I am not going to lay blame on anyone. It wont get us anywhere. Everyone needs to help out. I recently purchased the MLB package and the next day the season was announced to be delayed. I e-mailed MLB and asked them for a refund and with that refund I asked them if they could send it to the employees of Yankee stadium. The response I got was more or less they would have to look into the legalities. Please don't respond with grenades. I am not here to argue my beliefs or listen to the hatred.
Weeks ago we were promised drive-thru COVID19 testing sites where people could be tested “very safely, quickly and conveniently.”
Target, Walgreens, Walmart and CVS have a combined 26,400 US stores.
Only 5 drive-thru sites are open.
Nick why bring Obama into the discussion? To advance your narrative?
Maybe no president could have prepared, however the point of my previous post, he had a manual, a literal road map at his disposal and ignored it! Why?
He was briefed about the potential of a pandemic upon entering the office. The need for preparedness. He ignored it. Why?
Nick, I don't expect perfection, far from it. What I expect is basic competence.
I won’t say anything bad about Obama in regards to this pandemic . But it is a fact that every elected official in every state , and all of congress and the senate all knew that the US was not prepared at all for a pandemic since Obama was president. . And yet not a single one on either side did a damned thing about it . Now there is where I point my finger not at one man alone
Is this in New York alone or the whole country? Is this the companies you mentioned only or are they not counting other entities that are doing the testing. I have no doubt in what you say. I am just curious. I could not imagine being on the front-line of this being in the medical field. Just out of curiosity, what is in a test kit?
Where was Pelosi and Schumer during January?
Why weren’t they yelling or demanding that Trump be better prepared for the virus?
They knew about it. We all knew about it...
You know why?
They were more concerned about the IMPEACHMENT hearings and its HEADLINES....
They were only concerned with the flavor of the day Dr...
Trump is President but he has the House and Senate with their smart people who can steer him as well..
Where were they Dr?
Oh, in Jan was strictly impeachment!
The FAULT GOES To EVERYONE Dr....
Red, if memory serves that was something announced at one of the early pressers. Target, Walgreens, CVS and Walmart were mentioned as candidates for the drive thru sites and I believe it was nationwide, however at the time of the annoncement the hot spots were limited to NY, Wash. and Cali.
The contents of the kit are evolving. Soon they will be marketing an "at home" kit. The most common kits include a thin sterile swab and a liquid-filled tube for transport.
I will keep it simple,
Remember when the President was saying it's all a hoax by Democrats to hurt him politically.? It was because already many democrats were calling for him to do more. Or else why would have said that ? As you pointed out Democrat are always attacking the President so you think the weren't over this ? You can't have it both ways . Look for you I can only say " Denial ain't just a river in Egypt." But have no fear he will be reelected. And it will be worse for us next National emergency he messes up.
There is a manual though. Its avoiding being around people unless necessary. Did that video in the park look like people who need to be around each other? No they are choosing to despite the CDC and other doctor worth his weight in salt telling people not to. A significant portion of American people decide to say "**** that" and keep on their daily lives like they and the people they know will be fine.
