Yep. I have chalked it up to allergies.
Honestly, I would be thrilled if I had had Covid and it was that mild, as it is in many cases.

Hmm Fauci is saying next month is the target to start reopening the economy . Question is , will anyone call him irresponsible and a liar ? I mean trump said the same thing a few days ago .

Is that what he said Jorge? I know math is an issue, but reading comprehension too?
"“If you just say, ‘OK, it’s whatever, May 1, click, turn — turn the switch on,’ obviously, if you do it in an all-or-none way, there’s an extraordinary risk of there being a rebound,” he said, adding, “And that’s why I mean it is not an all or none. It’s going to be something that you gradually and carefully, in different parts of the country in different ways, try to get back.
“I totally I agree if that, all of a sudden, we decide, ‘OK, it’s May whatever,’ and we just turn the switch on, that could be a real problem. And everybody knows that. So, it’s going to be something different from that. It’s going to be a concerted way to take a look and try doing it appropriately, depending upon where you are in the country and what the nature of the outbreak is in that part of the country.”
To clarify. States like Nebraska, Vermont, Maine, North Dakota, Wyoming, West Virginia ect, that are fairly rural with low population density and low reported cases are more likely to open up sooner than the hot spots. It would be foolish to assume the entire country is on the same time table. What I believe Fauci is alluding to in his admonition to move gradually and carefully.
Fauci suggested some steps could take place in May.
“I think it could probably start, at least in some ways, maybe next month,” he said. “And, again, Jake, it’s so difficult to make those kinds of predictions, because they always get thrown back at you if it doesn’t happen, not by you, but, you know, by any of a number of people.” There he is saying next month things could start reopening the economy , that’s what trump has been saying . And now trump is saying he is gonna let the governors decide when to reopen .

@FEMA & @CDCgov’s draft strategy to reopen says even a cautious/phased approach entails a “significant risk of resurgence” of #coronavirus & warns of a “large rebound curve” of #COVID19 if mitigation is relaxed before vaccines or herd immunity occur. https://www.washingtonpost.com/
Critical to this plan would be widespread serology testing, which detects #antibodies to #coronavirus in the blood.
Yet @realDonaldTrump says we don’t need to ramp up testing, and the number of #COVID19 tests analyzed daily by labs *plummeted more than 30%* over the last week.

The Huge Cost of Waiting to Contain the Pandemic
As the numbers show, the timing of social distancing can have an enormous impact on death tolls.

On March 16, the White House issued initial social distancing guidelines, including closing schools and avoiding groups of more than 10. But an estimated 90 percent of the cumulative deaths in the United States from Covid-19, at least from the first wave of the epidemic, might have been prevented by putting social distancing policies into effect two weeks earlier, on March 2, when there were only 11 deaths in the entire country. The effect would have been substantial had the policies been imposed even one week earlier, on March 9, resulting in approximately a 60 percent reduction in deaths.

many people can have a low grade fever for days without going to the hospital along with body aches unable to leave there bed.. worst then any flu symptoms and not have to be hospitalized with covid 19.. the british pm for more than 5 days had such symptoms before going to hospital along with tom hanks and chris cuomo the governor brother..only when breathing is a issue unless you have a serious high fever should a hospital be mandatory...
Too bad none of us said that 3 days ago. Absolutely had local, state and federal leaders taken action sooner, we could have saved thousands of lives. It would have slowed the spread and put us on a path to more normality sooner.
He said "maybe". This is a continually fluid situation. That could change depending on how the virus continues spreading, where new hot spots pop up, etc. Like drt said, there are going to be states that open up quicker because lack of population has led to less enumerated cases but forget states like California, NY, NJ, Florida, etc. Those states are going take significantly more time and with different guidelines in place.
Trump should absolutely leave it to individual states to make those decisions.
As I suggested in my follow up clarification, some states. As Fauci suggests gradually and carefully. The science and the numbers will dictate. A second wave, which could be even more severe is always a possibility. Slow and steady wins the race.
It was always the governors call, not the presidents. He finally realizes.
I don't know what that idiot is capable of. I think he's prepared to reopen the economy before signing another trillion dollar stimulus bill which is disgustingly irresponsible. You're talking about a country that has had a negative debt to GDP since Bill Clinton was in office (Trump has increased that ratio btw) and we're going to complain about spending money now?
If there needs to be more legislation passed to keep people on their feet so be it. They are quick to bailout the airlines, cruiseliners, and big businesses (similar to 2008). Help American people.
May 1st was just hyperbole but i do believe if Trump thought was a pathway to do it that soon, he would. Now he's backing off and leaving it to the governors but 2 days ago, he was the ultimate authority on when the economy should reopen.
No Obama wouldn't consider something so irresponsible. This is singularly a Trump thing. He's so focused on business and the economy that he either ignores or doesn't understand the human toll this takes and will continue taking if he makes a rash decision. Look, we all understand the economy needs to get going. We understand that.
