Reported US coronavirus cases:
Mar. 12: 1,645 cases
Apr. 12: 557,300 cases
May 12: 1,369,376 cases
These are known, many have not been tested due to lack of testing, some states even haven't been fully honest with their #s.
But, ''it is totally under control'' according to our President. ''Just the flu.'' ''One person''
Now it's to the point that anyone in the white house not alone at their desk has to wear a face mask. Well not Trump or Pence of course. Because they don't need to abide by rules the rest of us do.

I agree that he hangs his hat to much on the stock market but before the the Covid outbreak we had one of the best overall economies in our countries history. I believe it was in 9-12 months our economies GDP grew more under Trump than the whole time with Obama. He also worked out some much better trade deals, brought jobs back from other countries and we had the lowest unemployment for both white people but especially minorities that we've had in the last 50yrs plus.
The guy might not have handled alot of things well but i don't think you can argue what his policies did for this country economically. Plus we have become completely oil independent which is huge.
That was the point of my question, when things start opening up all the way again the biggest focus is going to be getting the economy going full speed again. Biden was part of the Obama administration, that had had one of the worst and slowest growing economy in the last 60+ yrs. I'm just trying to make a point that i don't think Bidens the guy thats going to get our economy going full speed again, IMO. Thats not an endorsement of Trump, i'm simply saying that i don't believe of the 2,Biden has the better chops to get the economy going again
I don't disagree with u but before the pandemic pretty much every sector of the economy was roaring . Trump might have said and done some stupid things but he proved he knows how to run the economy.
Can u imagine if our econ markers were roughly in the same place as they were when Obama was in office when the pandemic started, we'd be way worse off then we could dream of being right now. All the jobs Trump brought back, the new trade deals giving us the upper hand and drilling for oil on US soil which has allowed us to not have to be reliant on the OPEC and becoming oil independent all were very good things for our economy
I know your going to disagree with me and thats fine. Trump, especially since the pandemic started has done/said some boneheaded things since he has been POTUS. That said IMO u have to give him credit for the economy, prior to the virus. It will be very interesting to see what he does between now and the election with the economy. I still believe if he can get the signs back to being positive and it doesn't look like it going to take 4 plus yrs to recover, he'll still beat Biden.
If the Dems could have actually found a good candidate then i would guess this election would have been over before it even got really serious because of the way Trump handled the pandemic but because the best they could do is Biden, with all his weaknesses, the door is still wide open for Trump to win again imo
Trump hangs to much of his hat on the stock market. It's more important to him than other aspects.
That was all I was saying, lol.
Personally, I don't think Biden will beat Trump. Trump will definitely do a better job with the economy than Biden, I don't have a doubt about that.
Biden doesn't have a clear cut plan to boosting the economy, as far as I know.
Moving production out of China to Africa would be a huge win for Trump, a huge **** you to China, it would of course also be a huge win for us and Africa. Moving production back here would be much better if course, but given the choice of China or Africa, give me the latter 10x out of 10.
Africa lacks the infrastructure that China has, so I wonder how it would work. Guess companies would have to build up and invest a lot of money into production. Wonder if they'd be willing to take that risk on. Africa certainly has the availability of workforce though. Much of Africa is poor and unemployed.
But also, keep in mind. Africa is on the rise, 7 of the top 20 on the rise markets/economies in recent years. China played a large part in that. Wonder if Africa would want to take part in a economic war between US and China.

I don't think he fixed the economy. He provided a sugar rush that eventually was going to crash. I agreed in cutting taxes but the manner in which it ultimately was done and the corporate tax rate that came to pass was more then most conservatives asked for. That was discussed when it passed. It can't really be cut further responsibly thus leaving the federal government much of a short term remedy to stimulate recovery. When you cut taxes you just pass the costs to States, localities, and to consumers. We will see. I have to admit Trickle down economics always worked great for a few years then the bill comes later, usually the next administration has to fix it. Look at the economy for the last half of the 20th century to now.
Trickle down economics will never work in a capitalistic society, people are too greedy.
A majority of corporations don't pass the money onto the employees. So, I whole heartedly agree.

Trickle down economics is a great idea in theory, the problem being is rarely do owners/corporations pass down enough of the profits for the concept to actually work properly. I don't get why Owners/ Corporations have to be so greedy and try to accumulate more wealth than their families could send in 1 life time.
With the tax cuts, getting better trade deals, bringing back/ moving manufacturing and oil independence Trump definitely created an environment to jump start the economy. IMO Biden doesn't have a solid economics plan or a great plan for anything else for that matter.
My only point is Trump did get the economy and he will be far better getting it going again than Biden would IMO
Sugar rush?
You mean Obama did the sugar rush....I’m sorry you were confused.
I’m not even talking about the Stock Market. I don’t use the stock market.
But how is the lowest unemployment with all people in the US since well before 1970 just a sugar rush?
The economy was roaring. Quit being ignorant. Obama’s was a sugar rush. The numbers don’t lie.
The low unemployment, the growth of the economy was high and was hitting numbers that the Dems said would never reach.
Please save it.
Obama has the worst economic numbers for an 8 year run. And I’m talking about on his 2nd term so I’ll throw out his first term. I gave him 4 free years and he still had horrible growth.
This virus has turned the Country try I to partisan politics.
It is us vs them crap.
Why is there a divide on coronavirus?
The Dems want to stay hidden in their holes and do NOTHING OR EVEN TRY. It is like they want to keep the Country try crippled not because of fear of the virus but to ruin the Country try even more.
California said they will keep the stay at home order through July?
July?
Why not even try to do a little in phases?
Again, this is all being done because of partisan politics.
Most Dems that our the leaders of this country do not want to open up until a vaccine emerges. That is a joke!
https://hyperallergic.com/563394/china-lego-animation/
It's a comedy video from, china. It's smart. It keeps saying, "we told you it was dangerous". China basically doesn't deny hiding number but they repeatedly say, "we told you it was dangerous in January". You said, no big deal and it would go away, until March. We had 2.5 months to get it together and ignored it.
Why was an outgoing administration surveilling an incoming administration?
Obama’s people overstepped their boundaries with Flynn.
I love how the former Obama officials move the goalposts with everything with regards to Trump. Their actions are ok because of how they move the goalposts.
What a load of crap.
All of this was done because Hillary lost in 2016.
I find it hilarious.
The Dems should have destroyed and criticized the Hillary campaign for their inability to convey a better message to the voters. Trump didn’t tell Hillary to ignore Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania during her campaign and that is basically why she lost. NOT THE RUSSIANS!
Mush, how about this, just say, you don't agree with the experts, scientists and Drs who believe that is the best way.
Why do I suggest that? Because, if you do, you are not making it political. It's your opinion. You are allowed that.
The fact is, you are one of the very few making it political. You constantly spout about the liberal media and the dems.
The rest of us voice outrage, disappointment and confusion with the way our president has handled it. It is irrelevant to which part he belongs. It truly is. It is about him. He has politicized this. It's what he does. He polarizes. Trumps language, Trump's not the republicans, not the democrats, Trump's language and rhetoric is dangerous and irresponsible. It has been the entire time.
He has failed in this crises. That is our president. It makes no difference what color suit he wears , red or blue. he has lied, he has mismanaged, he has failed and he has incited citizens against their own governors.
Trump.
He has politicized this more than anyone else. His words and actions or lack of actions , have politicized this.
Are both parties equal of following suit? Yes. Because they were foolish enough to get caught in his game.
My thoughts and opinions have zero basis in left or right. I have commented on a few other leaders from that side of the isle but I have also commented on some from the left.
I see every other poster doing that.
You are politicizing this far, far more than any other poster. It seems like every post you put up, politicizes it.
So simply state your opinion. You want things to open and you want to ignore data, research, science, drs.
I can respect that. I disagree but I respect it.
