For Clown, you want Democrats to love Republicans ? Ok that’s noble and I am a person who loves his wife a Democrat and have for two decades. Sure I know we all should be civil. However, research the goal of the Koch Bro’s and conservatives who have used prolife as their lure to get Christians to support conservative judges appointed to the SCOTUS and Federal courts. It’s not about abortion it’s about ending anything the US has looked like prior to the new deal era. They want the US to be something prior to Teddy Roosevelt, no anti trusts laws also. Research the goal of the Koch Bro’s agenda. This is all very possible. So think of that when you want Dems to be nice. Graham, Mcconell Cruz, Trump don’t give a crap about that. I'm talking about us with our neighbors, friends and families.
As far as the politicians, l I do think they should display a level of diplomacy and class. I am tired of the ugly.

Don't for an instance think I have any love for the like of the Koch *******s. They are horrid, as are the other names mentioned.

I will respectfully disagree with your analogy.
The Yankees should disrupt the camera feeds, tell people that since the Astros are doing it, they will too and get a great place to quietly hide their own.
Don't scream and yell about the Astros cheating. No one cares except your own fans. Don't lie to your fans. Don't incite hate for something you also do.

I strongly disagree with the bolded. I know many, very well educated people of all colors who watch HBO and who support Trump. I also know a ton of not so smart Dems who watch the other stuff.

I want you to consider the tone with which you are addressing me. I want Trump out. I think he is a bad man with bad intentions.

Doc, there is a ton of hypocrisy in this post.
I don't like Trump. I want Trump out. He is an orange bag of crap. But to say Pelosi and AOC had targets on them but to leave out that CNN, HBO, Hollywood, MSNBC... had targets on Trump is extremely biased.


The Ds aren't playing by the same rules. They still have no balls. They are divided as hell. A third are pissed Bernie didn't get the nod. A third wish Hilary ran again and the last third is just glad Biden is a white man.

Yes, I absolutely agree that the Far right has been a promoter of hate and vitriol. But to ignore that the far left is doing that when they also stake their foundation. on inclusiveness, tolerance and acceptance?

To me, it's sounding a bit like
"**** you. Everyone has the right to be heard and included. You shut up. I hate you until we win or you change your mind"


People who vote for Trump are not enemies. They are often treated as such. But rarely have I seen a Trump person flat out bash someone who likes Biden. I have seen them disagree. I have seen them make fun of Biden but I haven't seen the judgement that comes from the other side.
I absolutely fell into that trap. But no mas.

I am not suggesting it's easy to love what you despise but the reason we despise things is because we acknowledge them as a part of ourselves.

Both sides are acting like spoiled toddlers fighting over toys. If the Dems want to usher in a new era of kindness and inclusiveness, act like it.

I think it can be done.


If you look back at my posts, my fear is exactly what's happening and people are too caught up to actually see it.
Trump has succeeded in dragging this down to his level. This is how he wins.

Like I said and will repeat, I have been a Republican most of my life. My wife, mother, and father weren’t. My siblings aren’t. I know first thing about respecting people of other positions. However, the single minded pursuit of the corporate agenda backing the RNC is not something to be taken lightly. The RNC thru Fox and OAN has been behind so much hate over the years. Some of you may not like AOC but she gets death threats because of the exaggerated agenda by Fox to scare its base. So I understand your desire for fair play and courtesy. But let’s see if the RNC apparatus curbs itself first.

Fair enough. I agree the media's portrayal of Trump can appear overtly biased. Why? Because he gives them so much ammunition. But point taken. I admit my bias. I loathed the man and all he represents. I see nothing of value.

The right demonized Pelosi long ago, AOC is their latest victim. She is an easy target. Young, female, Latino and a socialist! Imo they are scared to death of what she represents. She appeals to the young free minded. Imo the R's see the handwriting on the wall and are scared **** their Ivory tower is crumbling.

My point the D's are not allowed to play by the same rules for all the reasons you mention in original post. Well....I must commend the company you keep. They are civil, reasonable people. Down here in Southern Jersey, the Biden bashing is ubiquitously doled out. There is an inherent assumption "all" support the orange guy, not the old, archaic, senile fool. (exact words heard at breakfast this weekend) Many swallow the Trump narrative whole.

I agree the discourse has been dragged down by Trump's rhetoric. Again damned if you do damned if you don't. Should the D's bring a knife to a gun fight?

Finally, I agree the D's are divided. They have always been a party of inclusion rather than exclusion. I prefer a party that accepts rather than rejects.

I have a younger cousin who I influenced to become a Republican over the years who I love. He is now practically Sean Hannity on steroids. When I was a Republican I did not hate Dems. My wife and other Dems never hated Republicans. Right wingers feel they are morally stronger then Dems. Dems feel they are smarter because they feel Rep voters often vote against their best interests. On balance as a person who has been a member of both parties, I see the Dems point. Republicans, the rank and file are trained to vote against their own best interest. Republicans today look at Dems as Un American. But it goes further now, modern Republicans scorn and hate other Republicans who don’t support Trump. You see division among Dems, but don’t see *then*** show with REPUBLICANS. Not a harsh tone just a curious tone.
