I think the bigger question is if we don't have a handle on covid by winter time will NBA and NHL start normal seasons again? Can't see players and teams wanting to be in a bubble for full seasons. 2 months or so like they're doing now isn't bad, but ~8 months like a normal NBA and NHL season would be a tough ask.

If the MLB players don’t screw it up then we will have our season. I just don’t trust this generation of players, they feel invincible. They go out still and probably don’t practice social distancing and wear their face masks.
