No one blames Trump for the economy.
They blame him for a piss poor response.
Mush, you crucify Stanton for his swings and misses but are too afraid to do the same to Trump?

Evangelical fundamentalists who openly defied social distancing guidelines are dying of COVID-19
"A phantom plague": Evangelicals are dying in frightening numbers

Countless non-fundamentalist churches in the United States, from Catholic to Lutheran and Episcopalian, have embraced social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic and temporarily moved their activities online. But many Christian fundamentalists and evangelicals have been irresponsibly downplaying the dangers of COVID-19 and doing so with deadly results: journalist Alex Woodward, in the U.K.-based Independent, reports that the pandemic has claimed the lives of more than 30 pastors in the Bible Belt.

That's horrible.
I hope it isn't treated as a "testing of faith", kind of thing.
How do other churches spin this to keep there people coming? That parish invoked the wrath of God and that's why they died?
I just feel like religion is about taking care of one another and looking out for each other. It was never meant to be about ego.
Actually Clown I tend to view this in the same light as the protesters in Michigan and elsewhere. Dumb, selfish behavior in the face of science and common sense. In some cases a bit more egregious enlisting the "grace of god" as protection. The protesters are simply foolish and not only endanger themselves but many others.
To quote him "He doesn't care if Trump does a **** job with this virus as long as he's good for his bank account and his immediate family".
**** having a competent and compassionate leader who understands he has a serious situation that needs to be dealt with head on. Its clearly better to have this moron run things.
Trump changes his mind every 30 seconds. He's completely erratic. His twitter feed is full of contradictions, hypocrisies, etc.
It's blame shifting. Something he does very well.
I think most of us knew when this came over to the states that China had lied about the official numbers and their knowledge of the virus. That isn't new news. Its easy for him to pivot and say "look over there" to avoid accountability. That's what his base does. They point fingers at everyone besides Trump. We've seen it constantly in this thread.

God damn China ****ed up again.
Also can't believe CNN would call them Asian hornets. How racist! Hornets don't have an origin! Just call them giant hornets!
Country is reopening with 31 States tomorrow.
Good, I need a car wash and a haircut.
Countries everywhere are opening up this week, not just the US.
Virus is slowing down.
And where are the million deaths in the US according to SCIENTISTS?
Yeah it was the “expert” fauci that said just 3 weeks ago , that hundreds of thousands were gonna die from the virus over the following month.and that was after he said a few weeks earlier, that the virus was a low threat to the general public .
I for one am glad the economy is starting to open up again . Until a working vaccine is made , the only true long term way to beat this virus is with herd immunity not lock downs .
Stop being an aszhole. The deaths are way down because the states took the initiative to quarantine. People took it seriously and it significantly slowed the virus. Scientists were working on the virus spreading and hospitals being overrun. Their numbers were worst case scenario. That's what you do to prepare.
You know, plan for the worst and hope for the best?
Unlike you who, plans for a perm and dye job before going to the car wash to impress the workers with his new hairdo
Most of the countries opening are 3 weeks ahead of us in regards to taking action.
Should we open slowly? Yes but we still don't have the testing needed and regardless of your ignorant arrogance, we could still fall back into another surge, especially in the southern states.
I hope not. I hope it's gone for good.
But stop being an ignorant twat.
More of your ignorance.
Dr. Birx said today 100,000 to 240,000 even with full mitigation and social distancing. They're up to 68,000 already in this country so the numbers are very likely to reach that point, especially now that we're reopening the country in various places. The only reason why that 68,000 figure currently isn't higher is because people were forced to stay at home.
Herd immunity is not the answer. It just spreads the virus further and leads to more death. The only answer that expunges this almost entirely is a vaccine or some kind of viral treatment.
Your misinformation is almost as bad as the presidents.
HEALTH AND SCIENCE
The US just reported its deadliest day for coronavirus patients as states reopen, according to WHO.
PUBLISHED SAT, MAY 2 202012:21 PM EDT UPDATED 2 HOURS AGO
William Feuer
The U.S. saw 2,909 people die of Covid-19 in 24 hours, according to the data, which was collected as of 4 a.m. ET on Friday.
That’s the highest daily death toll in the U.S. yet based on a CNBC analysis of the WHO’s daily Covid-19 situation reports.
The country’s deadliest day comes as state officials weigh reopening parts of the economy and easing stay-at-home orders.

I was a teen in the 80s so it took me about late 1992 to start dropping the 80s hair bands and started to hear Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgraden...once I got their albums I was hooked.....
Early 2000s my new band was avenged sevenfold. Early albums were the best!
First genres I really got in to were basically: grunge (Nirvana, Alice In Chains, The Melvins), metal (Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath), and then underground hip-hop (Hieroglyphics, Living Legends, The Pharcyde).
In his defense. He was talking Biden vs Trump. And he said all he cares about the economy. Perhaps in the context of the election, this corona thing will be in the wind by then... we are about to start some herd immunity with the country opening up

Your rhetoric speaks for itself. You keep talking about opening up the country and that it's just as simple as wearing masks. That will make everything just fine so you've told us. Post after post is defending the president, worrying about when your car is going to be washed, and making misinformed statements about the virus that are backed up by your feelings and not actual data.
If you gave a ****, you would spend the time to look at all the scientific evidence that's it not the best idea to just open the country up, especially when many places in the US are experiencing a surge in viral cases.
