A sweet, kind, compassionate 80 yr old......that will tear your balls off, with a smile.
There is a reason the madam became Speaker.

Mush, you keep forgetting that no one here has blamed Trump for the virus.
His response has been crap and still is. Inject yourself with disinfectant? There are tons of Drs going online and warning people not to do it.
Again, I didn't have a huge issue with trump until this happened. He has been horrible.
You bring up Obama? Why? he had less warning of the virus than Trump did.
How many died of H1N1? How may have died from Covid?
We had a vaccine for it within a year.
It was after the that the country started to plan more accordingly for pandemics.
That was one year into his presidency. Should have been better? Yes. If you asked him, I would guess he would say the same. Because he is at least more of a stand up human being than our current joke.
Again, you blame everyone and everything but not the individual who had some power to really do something.
Instead you mouth his words. It's their fault... oh now it's their fault.... oh now we should blame them.... blame him... blame her.... That's what you do mush. Finger point and blame. It does nothing. This is our country and our problem. Nothing else is relevant aside from how we handle it.
As a country we have been terrible. It;'s not only Trump. No one has said it was. There have been failures all over.
But he is the president. He has lied. He has mislead. He has played favorites. He has been petty. He has outwardly worried about his ratings.
You talk about the election and the Dems wanting to mess it up? Really? Do they need to? No.
Trump has done a fine job of that by himself. He has made his decisions for this based on reelection not on the health and safety of the public.
I'm sorry you can't see that.
Then why doesn’t the higher income state workers spread more of THEIR OWN WEALTH?
They want a tax system to do it.
Make the tax rate 75% in those states. That would solve the issues.you know what happens when more taxes increase?
People flock to Florida to avoid taxes. People hate more taxes.....
You all say tax the rich!
Who are the rich Clown? And can the 1% being taxed more solve the issues?
I don’t see Warren Buffet donating his entire 2019 income to help the poor. Why doesn’t he do that?
And not with a tax incentive for doing it.
Agreed. The intention is to divide and conquer. Trump loves drawing up sides. Us vs them. Winners and losers. Fits with his narrow view of the world and jingoistic rhetoric. The sad part imo, the people who have swallowed the BS hook, line and sinker will be the biggest victims.
First of all, Obama is not my hero. It doesn't compare with your love for the orange turd either.
I don't believe that, sorry. I do think another president would have dealt with this better. I don't think Trump has the intellectual or emotional faculties to handle a crisis like this whether from its onset or following through to its end. That's evident by his inconsistent messages, his concern over how this virus affected his re-election campaign, his "one man in China" speech, injecting disinfectant as a possible cure, etc.
A moron doesn't stop being a moron just because you hang on to his every word.
Say whatever you want but there's one thing you can't argue. The lack of testing. Blame China and yes their cover up was disgusting but the president has known about this virus since at least January and he decided it wasn't important enough to fund testing to combat it. He sat on his ****ing hands and he doesn't get a pass for that.
https://www.webmd.com/cold-and-flu/n...n-seasonal-flu
The swine flu wasn't nearly as severe of a pandemic stateside as this is. The swine flu killed 18,000 people over the course of 2 years in the US. The coronavirus has killed 50,000+ Americans in less than 2 months. Facts are hard, I know.Quote:
1.5% of children with H1N1 swine flu were hospitalized, compared to 3.7% of children with seasonal H1N1 flu and to 3.1% of children with seasonal H3N2 flu.
4% of adults with H1N1 swine flu were hospitalized, compared to 2.3% of those with seasonal H1N1 flu and to
4.5% of adults with seasonal H3N2 flu.
2.5% of children with H1N1 swine flu had pneumonia, compared to 1.5% of children with seasonal H1N1 flu and to
2% of children with seasonal H3N2 flu.
4% of adults with H1N1 swine flu had pneumonia, compared to 2.3% of those with seasonal H1N1 flu and to 1.1% of adults with seasonal H3N2 flu.
Where did I say entire income? See Mush? See how you read what I wrote with your spin and literally changed my words and idea?
Why would you do 75%?
Personally, I am a proponent of flat tax with no wiggle room. With a few caveats.
Individuals who make less than 25K are exempt. Couples under 40 are exempt. Each kid adds 10 K to that math (up to 3 kids). So a family of 5 would be exempt at 70K
If you make less than half a mil you are taxed at 12%
If you between a half mil and 2 mil you are taxed at 14. No write offs or deduction
Anything over that is. 16%. No write offs or deductions.
Businesses pay 16% of profit.
Bonuses are taxed at 30% up to 10 mil. Over that, they are taxed at 40%
If you live in this country, you must declare all income and holdings outside of the country. If you don't, you pay a huge penalty, as in 75%.
If you do not want to make this your residence, any income you make here is taxed at a higher rate.
Yes, the one percent being taxed more can help
So can the taxing the 5%
The 10%
The 15%
Taxing them brings the floor up for the lower 25%
I think you would also have to include a reworking of the corporate tax structure as well.
I was alluding to that but I do't have the knowledge on what exactly to do. That's why is talked about bonuses, holdings....
I would actually give tax breaks on those bonuses to companies who paid a higher wage and gave better benefits.
If you are treating your workers well, no need to take more from you.
