That’s the thing neither side cares about the average tax payer . They only seem to care during election season

Yes that's correct. As I've stated numerous times, I don't like Cuomo. I think he's a ****** governor.
But then again, I think most Governors and politicians suck. Cuomo has dug this state deeper into debt, a ton of corruption at multiple levels of state and local government, including his own administration(some are even in jail).
One of the most segregated school systems in the country, one of the most corrupt housing authorities in the nation. Almost like democratic run cities don't really give a **** about minorities.
Democratic leaders don't really give two ***** about minorities
The same way
Republicans don't really give two ***** about a fetus after its born.
We are both set in our ways. I was a republican who left the party after Trump was elected because the party isn't what I thought it was. But I will never drink the democrats cool-aid either.
It's cool, you're a typical left wing minded person. All your beliefs you've posted have been that way at least. You let your political party decide what is and isn't best, instead of thinking deep for yourself. I hope one day you snap out of it.
We are all just sheep to a country run by big business.

I'm not a Democrat so it really doesn't matter. I only vote left because being an independent leaves you few options. No options that gain any traction in gubernatorial or presidential races. That said, I'll take a 100 Joe Bidens over one Donald Trump. That's not always the case though. When I was 18, I voted for George Bush in 2004.
I'm aware these parties work for the highest bidder. That said, these are your options until there is more than a 2 party dominated system in this country.
People don't like change. That's why Bernie Sanders didn't win the democratic nomination.
I left the Democrat pArty after al gore debacle and left the Republican Party during Obama’s second term as president when the republicans never came up with the balls to do anything about many of Obama’s questionable policies . Right then and there I realized neither side gave a damned about us .
Of course but you hope that change exists. You don't want to run solely on the premise that politicians were bought and paid for ions ago. You would hope someone has the dignity and the soul to want to make this country better. Even if my better judgement tells me that's not the case, i'm not just going to accept that.
We went through decades where politics didn't matter. The last few decades have all been about having a good time and making the most money. This is probably the first time since the 1960s where people are trying to invoke real change. I know that sounds like a bunch of kumbaya bs btw but its my belief.
No Sanders lost because he didn't win over moderate Democrats. Whatever the case is, that man was the closest to real change in the Democratic party probably since the 1800s. Bernie knew the only path he had to being president was to run as a Democrat though. He couldn't run as an independent or a smaller party candidate.
Politics are polarizing. It's clear. However I don't believe they can be reduced to singular, party defined, tropes. When we generalize we tend to lose the individual behind the label.
My views tilt decidedly left. Do I agree with all their policies? Absolutely not. Same holds true of the right. I don't simply dismiss the right because of party affiliation, but rather I look at policy. How does it effect the majority, the minority and me as an individual.
My disdain for Trump has a lot to do with his history and much less to do with the R's. Although I do take issue with the sycophants (Pence, Graham, McConnell, Barr et.al) that watch the madness and remain silent. No excuse. Their fear of Trump and public humiliation via twitter frenzy is more potent than their responsibility to their constituents! No excuse.
Absolutely imo. He stood for a change many clamor for, but yet the middle fails to support. What Bernie has accomplished, even without getting the nod, he has focus attention on the important issues facing the country and the planet. Many of his issues, once thought to be too radical or too far left, are now debated and have become part of the American consciousness.

No the middle doesn’t support sanders because he is way too far to the left and on top of that during his last run for president he did in fact praise Fidel Castro’s education policies . And ANY type of praise for fidel Castro is not going to get support from the minorities and middle of the road Americans . And that is on top of the support he has given to Maduro the Dictator from Venezuela
If this is 8 years later and Bernie is 10 years younger, Bernie runs away with the Democratic nomination. Dems went with the safe choice. It might bite them come Election day.
Trump really has nothing to rally on at this point. His only offense is "I'm better than Joe Biden".
So Bernie Sanders and Mayor Pete have the same political views? You do realize that individual Democratic candidates don't all run on the same platform right? If you remember correctly, Bernie had a huge base in the Democratic party not only from his 2016 run but this years as well. If Biden doesn't win, Bernie is your democratic presidential nominee.
He's too left for you. Bernie won over a 1000 delegates. Mayor Pete won 26.
