Amazing considering every other president would have formally addressed the nation at this point. He's busy in his bunker ****ing around on twitter and stoking the flames by calling out a largely black protest (thugs, shooting those who loot, etc). Certainly not helping the cause Donnie boy. Just underscores the reality, he wasn't nor will he ever be presidential caliber individual.

Could the response be any more inappropriate? In a moment we need a calming resolve we get more fuel on the fire. His base, the racists and white nationalist are celebrating the arrival of their messiah. Scary.

Are you suggesting his base is NOT made up, in part by racists and white nationalist? If you said it was redundant I would understand, but comma's? If you are suggesting his base is more than that suggested I agree. But no arguing many if not all racists inspired hate groups are in his corner and rejoicing. Why is Stephan Miller still in the WH?

I am saying that the majority of his base is not racist and/or white nationalists.

I absolutely agree about his base being white nationalists.

If you don't, then you are likely correct about his base not being racist because we look at racism differently

If you do think he is, then I would say that his base is in the majority, racist.

I think he's racist. I think his base is made up of far more racists than non racists. They may be super nice people and simply lack exposure to diversity but I know a ton of his supporters and all but a very few are racist.
Not over the top and not in a mean way but they definitely have there tightly held stereotypes and fears that shade their views.

Yep. He watched TV and tweeted.

Don't forget saying he had no problem with a MAGA protest to oppose the protesting group.

He's a ****ing moron. I had genuinely hoped that if he did find himself in the midst of a crisis, he would be a leader and really step up and own it.

This type of **** isn't going to fix anything. If anything it's going to do the exact opposite imo. These people couldn't care less about what happened in Minnesota. They're just using it as a free for all to steal a bunch of stuff.

It speaks more to his lack of leadership. Antagonizing those who are out there doesn't help matters either. You're right, its impossible to stop what is going on right now but there are ways for him to present himself in a more understanding and empathetic manner which would gather people together, instead of pushing them further apart.

That's what this president does best though. He loves divisiveness.
