You said easily, I disagreed. The Eagleton decision to step down was not easy or taken lightly by the party. If I recall correctly it was ugly. He suffered from depression and the oppo took advantage and went public with the certain details.

Did u read what I said??? Because your original questions are all jacked up. My point was, if it doesn’t break the law or his oath of office or anything else involving his position, then what does it matter if he is held accountable.

I don’t think did anything wrong given the information he had at the time of his decisions. And that’s all u can base it on. If he is going by the info the CDC and WHO are giving him and his medical staff is agreeing or confirming the validity of it, how can u fault him. U think he just went out there and decided these things on his own? Bc if u do, u must acknowledge that all the good things he came up with were some his own as well. Can’t have it both ways... “trump failed to enact a travel ban quick enough.” But “the mask idea came from his medical team”... to that matter, as long as the guy didn’t act incompetently, maliciously, or against expert opinions, u have no case. And remember, this is a brand new virus that no one has dealt with before, so there are tons of conflicting info/data/plans to handle it... even among the experts.

My problem with some of u guys is that u expect Trump to be all knowing... let’s give an example though which might help:

I don’t know what u do for a living but let’s say u clean up elephant ***** at the circus... idk just seems like something u would. Well the elephant rider says “hey man, dumbo crapped all over there in that field” so u go over there and find very little and clean it up. Turns out he shat somewhere else completely. Now the boss finds u and says u are accountable bc u should’ve cleaned the shat up anyway. Does that sound reasonable or like a miscommunication or perhaps the elephant rider doesn’t like u and wanted to set u up... idk. U don’t tell the president how to do his job and he won’t tell u how to pick up elephant *****

Would Hilary Clinton had she been elected been given the same amount of benefit of the doubt if she handled the crisis the same way Trump has ? I would have been posting the same thing about her too. Recall all the various Benghasi hearings they were justified because she was supposed to have known better, she had gotten reports and she as SoS took no action. She acted on the reports she had and the information and she was called to account for it. Now I as a Conservative, supported the investigation, not all of them cause it became wasteful, and looked at her badly. She was responsible for the protection of people working for her. Now the President is ultimately responsible our national defense. He gets briefings but as we know those briefings he often does not attend, he has sent Jared and Ivamka in his place or just sits there and leaves after a minute or two if he finds it boring. Plus he tweeted and spoke during the crisis about how great China was in handling the infection and how weak the virus is. It's all on video and in writing. So I did not give Secretary Clinton the benefit of the doubt why should I give President Trump ? And even if you want to give him the benefit for all of his handling you got a insight into the man's thought process and cluelessness when he talked about detergents as a possible treatment of the virus, and bringing sun light into the body.

Times if I remind you released stories critical of Hilary Clinton right before the election that may have cost her the election, that does not show they were biased at the most critical point of an election for a candidate they endorsed. You live in a binary world people who live in binary world's are not to be taken seriously. Show me you can be taken seriously tell me something that would prooves your not just a card carrying victim of the right wing. The president t is the boss so I don't see it quite the same. Lets say that it's my field and I am supposed to tend to it.
In the spirit of what seems pseudo realistic, let's say your wife is that elephant and you are the rider. She's taking massive craps all over the place and you leave. You don't say anything you just rider her off into the next field and hide. (Like China and WHO)

I walk into the field and step on a pile. I get annoyed and then look around and it looks like there are a bunch of piles. I'm not sure how many but I know I will need to get it cleaned.
I see there is a group of people that want to come picnic and play in the field. I tell them the field is fine. they step in crap and get angry. I tell them it's only a little and I will have it cleaned quickly. They continue to step in the piles and get more upset. I tell them that I have people who will locate the areas without piles of poop and we will have it all figured out.
They stand there, frozen because I have no people that can actually do that.
Then I tell them we found a magic cleaner that would just get rid of it. They start to move around and wouldn't you know, they step in another pile of your wife's excrement.
This goes on for hours.

Now is handling it like that the best way to do it?
Or should, I have simply told them from the start, look, there's crap in the field. I don't know how much there is or how long it will take to clean it up, so it might be a little while before it's safe to freely move around the field.

Which would you prefer?


As for your example, yes. I am accountable.
Should I be punished? No. The boss should instruct me as to the location of the crap and I should clean it.
Now, if I tell the boss it's clean and it's not, that's another story. If I tell the boss, I went there and it's gone but it isn't, that's another story. If I tell the boss it will disappear in a month so I don't need to clean it, that's another story.

No one blames the man for the virus. They blame him for his piss poor, lethargic,. dishonest response.
