Buddy isn’t happy and the time is coming soon.

Hard to imagine Buddy increasing his value off the bench. The best time to deal him would be now.

Well it’s not like we’re gonna get two max superstars. Buddy would be our only long term contract and he’d help us get better. We could also do a sign and trade to bring a star here when the time comes.

Bringing in Buddy, Wood, and drafting one of the top PGs could easily get us into the playoffs without sacrificing the future.

Yeah something like Randle, DSJ, and Bullock gets it done IMO. Bullock would replace Buddy off the bench, DSJ still has upside, and Randle is an expiring who will give them much needed cap relief.

Sounds like a quick painful war lol but would be an improvement. At this point build around ball/RJ/Mitch and I’ll be very happy lol please let us win the lottery

LaMelo with Mitch and Wood would be insane. The number of alleys and full-court lobs would be ridiculous since both guys are super athletic and can run the court. Our size would be a big advantage too

Can’t wait for the lottery. I’m ready to be disappointed as usual. If we fall to 8, I’ll just gamble on taking Cole or Kira.

I'd love buddy here and his contact should be movable if need be

But I'm only trading for buddy if we draft a pg or else we might have to trade for a pg or sign one frank dsj is not cutting it next year

Question: if we threw a max at Brandon Ingram, do you guys think the Pels match it? I’m guessing yes but I’m not 100% sure, and it’s definitely at least worth a try?

If we could do that, draft Ball, and sign FVV or even Joe Harris...

I’d be surprised if it even comes to them matching. They are just going to give it to him. Ingram, Zion, Ball is a great young core. I’m jealous...

LaMelo Ball is the solution.

He is the connective tissue that will make RJ Barrett a more proficient scorer. He'll push the ball in transition after a brilliant stop by Mitchell Robinson and/or Frank Ntilikina.

Cole Anthony would be a less ideal fit in New York without a pass-first point guard. Sure, he'll get HIS stats but the rest of the team won't get any better.

I don't think Lonzo is sticking around. Lot of reports that he was checked out in the bubble.

Bulls just fired Boylen, so any shot at trading for Lavine or Markannen is probably out the window now.
