as if Vanity Fair is going to let random people borrow $14,000 worth of clothes and accessories.

I know, that is the point. AOC has pushed hard for random people who during this pandemic have struggled to simply pay their rent. that is why I asked, how many of these people can afford these type of clothes, and the answer is likely none at all.
I think this could have been a great opportunity for AOC while pushing hard to help these people, did a photoshoot with still high quality clothes that these people could afford. it could have been AOC looking good, and the average American could also look just as good in the same affordable clothing. I could have supported AOC doing that, it could have been a great message during a crisis (Covid19).
Your fixation on this is wholly unhealthy and unnecessary.
Ya especially considering in Canada AOC would reside in our NDP Party. People like her aren't overly rare in Canadian politics.
She won pretty handedly considering the gop dropped 10 million on her opponent and had constant commercials going on.
It was the second most expensive house race.
and now someone has taken over as youngest to be elected to the House.........25 yr old Madison Cawthorne in North Carolina
Yeah that’s wasted money, but I get it why they do it.
You don't really need all that much to run for Rep. A little more to run for Sen. Not sure how to handle the $$$ for Pres.
One simple law that should be instituted……you shouls not be allowed to donate to someone you cannot vote for.
……………
The guy that spent the 100 mil in SC
And I think there was someone else that did this (can't remember who)
Bloomberg spent a boatload in FL to get felons the right to vote
10 mil on the AOC election
I can't help but thinking that all this $$$ could be put tp better use.
You want to spend 100 mil in SC……great, build some housing for the poor. Same with the other guy, same with Bloomie and the guy un the South Bronx.
Get the $$$ out of it.
