nobody forced AOC to leave. she did. and that deserves criticism when she herself criticized someone else for leaving.

if it was reversed and a Republican criticized a Democrat for leaving and then left them self, they too should get criticized.

I haven't paid enough attention to where in America a mask is supposed to be worn or not, but if everyone should be wearing a mask outside, that is also a reason for criticism.

Why do you need the media? I'd bet many of these politicians were on Christmas break in another state or country while the news of record COVID cases broke. Those significant upticks didn't just happen in NY.

If you told me that she knew how many cases NY would have before she left and then planned her trip while it was happening, sure. That's not what she did. That's what Cruz did though. He was living through something that inconvenienced him so he decided to go to Cancun instead. As I said, these events as not as comparable as you hope they are but more of your equal playing field narrative as always.
