She does't drive the right nuts at all. It's the publicity that the media and the left gives her.
She's a toothy Paris Hilton…famous for being famous. She has done nothing and equally as dumb but if she shows up somewhere we need to get a photo of it.
I said this before…it is a sad commentary on our system when someone like this gets elected.
I'm sure she's a nice person though.
to be honest the right doesn't care about her for the most part. They view her as a radical who will get minimal done. The media just blows her up, hence why there are so many conversations about her. If she wasn't constantly being covered by the media, we wouldn't even have this thread.
I will say, I think the right is a little scared at the idea someone so far left could be voted in to the Senate in a real district though.
it's coming from a frustrated district with a lot of people that can identify with her. I mean, how many years have been wasted on do nothing senators around the nation over the years? The only difference is social media can tell you what she had for breakfast today.
how exactly is it a sad commentary on the system when someone gets elected who wants to represent her district and takes no money from big corporations?
Fair enough.
So when it all comes out in the wash, her vote is balanced off by someone like Pete Olson’s (from Texas’ 22nd) for whom I suppose one could easily say “it’s a sad commentary on our system when someone like him gets elected.”
But, as Slugworth has pointed out, she’s as cute as a button and don’t you just want to take her home with you (presumably to be barefoot and pregnat in the kitchen). Olson, on the other hand, looks like a goose who is in the process of being strangled.
