You don't have to follow my path to achieve an understanding of one's spirituality. That is a problem I have with organize religion, they claim to be the sole gatekeeper, which in the past has been very profitable for them, to the divine. I am sure there is a non-secular approach to this. Reading poetry and philosophy gives me a hint it is so. Spirituality is a deeply personal thing, and just something I don't share in public unless questioned by someone I respect. I won't get too deep into it, but I am just following a general attitude about non-believers more so than directed at yourself.

I totally support Valade's religious exchange with Bird of Prey. We can't live as people did in ancient times, there is no room for a "slave must respect his master" in this society. I don't go to the bible to explain science to me. But the universal idea of spirituality and the need to nourish it that it expresses, I can take that in spades.

many people are homosexual and do not look any different, are not using that to be a story.

if someone that happened to be homosexual was reading to children, there is no reason for the children to even know a difference. it wouldn't matter whether they were homosexual or straight, it wouldn't be the issue.

I didn't bring up the "normal" point. You did. What is acceptably normal? Who defines what "normal" is? Many people believe homosexuality is a choice and at the same time, an unacceptable behavior. Do we keep kids from them as well because its not normal? To me. they're peas in the same pod. They are behaviors engaged in by adults whose decisions aren't impacting anyone. It's their life. Exposing people to different is how we become comfortable with things many consider not normal.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure a lot of white parents used that same argument (with their kids) about normal when justifying segregation back in the 1930s and 40s.

why do you keep bringing up homosexuality, that has nothing to do with this.

dressing up in a drag is a choice, like any choice, different than your examples.

I can't believe there is an argument whether it is or is not normal, some will argue about anything.

How about the reality that people slip sometimes and get caught? She made the same mistake that millions of people have made, got careless in a bad situation, the pandemic. It happens.

But, hey feel free to spin this into the most heinous thing someone can do.

Want to bet that she own up to her mistake? Let say, the loser never mentions AOC or Biden for six months? You will still have Harris, Pelosi, Ilhan, Maxine to rant on so it is a good bet for you. Even set up a time frame.

If she owns up to it, fine. If not.........

There is a good chance she will, she isn't a republican.
