You can do what you want on your own time, but on the job you are a soldier, or a police officer or a firefighter with rules and norms that demand following.
Consider…Ilhan Omar recently pointed out how black home ownership is about half of white ownership and that "everyone should own their home." She alludes to this as being racist when the actual reason is that many people of color do not qualify. I've owned two homes in my life span and maybe 15 autos. So that is 17 situations of having been granted a substantial loan. Not one time have I ever had contact with the banker, car dealer, or the sales manager after the loan is made. Not one time. Point is that they are not giving me the loan because they like this nice white guy. We're not hanging together. I'm getting the loan because I qualify. Making these situations racial is flat out wrong. The car dealer, the banker, the credit card company does not make $$$ declining people. They want to make every loan that is in front of them. If you know anyone who works in these areas, just ask them.
Making every failure you have as a racial event does more harm than good. People who actually run things get tired of these same old songs. Look inward. Maybe that is where the problem is. Clean up the act.

You would not believe what it was like handling employee problems with minorities. White people, no probs, just fire them.
Now subconsciously during the hiring practice is it possible that the hirer believes that hiring a minority may be more trouble down the road than thy whitey…yes. I believe that that is possible and probably happens. Which is why anyone looking for a job should strive to get a face to face interview. You will stand a much better chance.
Given all that I have pointed out, it goes back to another point that I've brought up…Part of equality is acting equal. If you're a minority try acting, dressing, talking etc. like everyone else in our society (worked for BO). And stop claiming racism for every little thing. You may be amazed as to how far you get.
However, feel free to do whatever you want. Just seems like whatever you are doing isn't working out very well.
